Its to bad we are stuck with hardaway because if we could replace him with a scoring combo guard like a better version of Trek Burke we would be so much better off. Start Frank and and a combo guard and just roll with 2 playmakers in the backcourt. Have Burke/Trier be the backup scoring guard off the bench with Lee at the 2
Frank's defense is a treat to watch
Cartman718 wrote:If a young guard like Russell cannot get past Frank those oldies better watch out!!
yeah his defense is great. What makes me giddy is his newfound aggressiveness on offense. Plus he is hitting those 3s so far
That Robinson block on the 3 point line and then the out of bounds save was a thing of beauty

You already know people are soon going to be like shit let me just pass the ball if Franks guarding me
THJr hasn’t made any plays this game besides trying to hit shots. I bet he hasn’t even attempted an assist.

Trier keeps playing like this, you may get your wish to see Burke move to the bench.
Zerbys suit looks like it’s missing a flat hat n a cane

I actually suggested starting Burke and Frank together. THJR needs to be benched unless wr go 3 guard

If Frank can stay aggressive for the rest of preseason, he might have a shot if Fizdale is serious about it being an open competition. Agree with Marv that Frank/Trier is an intruiging backcourt down the road, if they keep progressing. Like to see Trier be more od a distributor first. A "microwave" like you said until he can move the ball more. Fizdale likes him in that role right now.
I like Trier coming off the bench as a gunner...
I always go back to Cazzie Russell...He used to come in, take his shots, and if they fell & he got in a rhythm, he would stay in.
Vinnie Johnson, JR, Del Curry, etc., there is always a place for some instant offense. He is more of a 1/1 player, so he might keep others from getting into their own groove at the start of the game, which is why I like him off the bench, but he's also made some nice passes off drives.
He looks legit so far...He and Robinson look like some legitimate steals so far. We will see.

Me and Fiz - we be synched
Burke playing like a mini-Iverson out there
Burke is getting hot. Kanter is going to be important this season. gives the rooks, younger players, second chances. Shows them the importance of staying aggressive.
