A fan expressing his frustration with those players. My guess is the only thing common between them is the lack of stellar D

Oh, a fan with a negative tweet about a sports team.

Got it.

Oh a forum poster who didn't get it the first time.

Pistons were 19th Last season. Knicks were 9th.
Arenas don't fill up early. Those early pictures were not good. 3 games in they over 17,000 avg. Place was rocking.
Embiid was having fun but lost. He needs to mature. The great ones don't clown. He clowned. Read Draymonds take on when he talked shyt to Duncan and Timmy just looked at him like he was crazy. Funny stuff.

That's right, I assumed there was more to it than a fan for whatever reason posting the tweet of another random fan making some vague, assumptive criticism of certain players defense.

My bad.

That may be the 2018-19 Knicks best statistical category, and at the end of the day, might be be too bad a thing.

I am really really glad we do not have this guy...Kanter talks a lot on social media as well, but these types of comments are reminiscent of headcase Cousins. Dude hasn't won anything and talks so much trash. He's routinely lost...
Team USA vs team Africa game
Performance in Playoffs
Thinks he's superman when the reality is something else.

It's like Shaq, Dwight Howard and Kevin Hart personalities all combined into one.
The fact that he has to say that about Drummond should tell everyone that Drummond owns a lot of real estate in Embiid's head.

------------------

Joel Embiid believes he is in the head of Andre Drummond.

"I think I own a lot of real estate in his head," Embiid told reporters after the Sixers' 133-132 loss to the Pistons. "We lost, so I'm not supposed to talk trash, but he knows damn well that he can't guard me. But that was a team effort. You know, Blake [Griffin] had a good game, and they were able to pull it off, so we got another one tomorrow, and we got to do a better job."

Drummond was ejected when assessed his second technical foul late in the fourth quarter when his hand brushed Embiid's face.

Drummond held his palms in the air after the foul call, while Embiid, who had gone to the floor, got up and gesticulated to the official to throw Drummond out of the game.

"His hand touched my face, and you know, going back, what the referees were saying the whole game, there were a lot of cheap shots taken," Embiid told reporters. "At one point, I think [referee] Tyler [Ford] said that the next cheap shot, the next one is going to get a technical foul, and that's why he got the other technical foul.

"All I was doing was just talking and playing basketball and trying to win the game, and obviously on the second one, you can see that he hit me, and his hand actually touched his face. ... But like I said, I feel like I own a lot of real estate in his head."

It doesn't need to be said, but Minnesota is a crap show.

we have 7 lottery picks (burke, frank, kp, knox, mario, noah, mudiay) all top 10 in the last 1 to 4 yrs and we're still trash.

When two are injured and four others were picked up out of the trash bin, what's the significance of that?

The Knicks didn't draft burke and Hezonja and Vohleh and Mudiay. The reason they're on the roster is they already busted. So I don't think they're draft position is relevant to anything.

Knicks1248 never seems to grasp the importance of drafting well- you need picks AND you need to draft wisely. Having several players drafted in the top 10 doesn't mean much if half of them are busts. Yet he pretends not to grasp this so he can maintain his argument that you can't rebuild via the draft. Madness!

I'm not a zealot either way.

Of course it's POSSIBLE to build a good team through the draft. But you got teams like the Raptors too.

And there are teams who have had crap success in the draft.

I also think there is a significant luck element.

The Houston Rockets are making a renewed bid to acquire Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Jimmy Butler, including four future first-round draft picks in their most recent offer, league sources told ESPN.

The Timberwolves have continued to solicit offers on Butler since the start of the regular season, the sources said.

Houston's push represents a desire to sacrifice some long-term roster flexibility and go all-in with a legitimate third star to partner with All-NBA guards James Harden and Chris Paul in pursuit of a championship.

Some teams never learn- can't believe any GM would consider this after watching what happened to the Nets after the KG and Pierce deal.
