I was really rooting for them before the season, but the difference between how the team performs with the new starters and with them on the second unit is night and day.
Not so sad about the prospect of losing them after the season considering this.
The first month of the season is too soon for me to entertain that stuff, and strong move by Kanter, drawing fouls.
Not giving up on them, but at least with Kanter, it was looking like he was gone after the season and his automatic double doubles and his cool attitude made it a sad prospect. Not so much with his really evident bad D. I like him, but it’s amazing the impact he has on D.
If he is the first line of D, no its not a great situation. You pair him with KP, and its a different story. All about fit. Having a strong quarter right now.
True that he has had better days when put with KP. And the guy is really cool. He might still be out of our price range at the end of the season, though. Still made us a winner in that Melo trade.

He's a slick SOB with the hesitation moves...and a good finisher.
