Good stuff, Mudiay. Happy to have you part of this tank.
Come on man he played a good game. He was fouled on that shot
Zero defense.

He played ok D, better than Hardaway who got scored on repeatedly. He's more of a 2 way player to me than Hardaway.

These are Mudiay's 4th quarter stats from this season. JamesKPolk...I rest my case...45% overall shooting from the field this season. Hardaway can only dream of getting there at the moment unless he starts working really hard on reversing his tendencies.
Small sample for sure, but I am basing it on what we have seen so far that he's becoming a go-to player in the 4th

It’s time for hardachuck to ride the pine and let frank play with the starters... no one who plays defense like hardachuck should be starting in the nba

Frank is playing well. You don’t need to hate on him unconditionally. Give credit where it’s due.

You have zero knowledge about basketball. I don’t care what eras you’ve watched. You’ve never known anything then and now. Every post you make is an example of that.

Whats funny is that he claims he "likes" Frank lol.

Nice to see Knox and Frank have solid games.

The Knicks were victims of bad calls (or no calls) in the last few minutes in the game. Seemed like all of them went in the home team’s favor. The Ntilikina jump ball should have been a time out - Nance barely was touching the ball.
Like with the football Jets/Giants, you can takeaway some positives here and there - like Knox and Ntilikina looking like NBA starters this game, coming back from the big deficit, Etc. Culturally, the team really needs to win some of these games so they can learn how to win in the clutch.
The Knicks should have overwhelmed Cleveland with Kanter and Vonleh. Love and Thompson we’re out. I fully would have expected the Knicks to pound the ball inside. Kanter was unstoppable.
Ntilikina looks like a player thinking out there, but at least his fg% and numbers look like a legit sg’s.
Knox hit some big shots. He’s looking more and more like the confident guy in the summer league. He’s averaging about 10ppg in 22mpg now. That’s more projectable as a future star than before the last 2 games. Next milestone for me is whether he can improve his shot mix and become more of a 45% fg player.
Mudiay had a good game statistically. But unfortunately for him he was at the center of a few bad moments late in the game.

PERFECT game imo..
Our 19 and 20 year old lottos take further steps in showing they're going to develop into our starters for the future.
Fiz shows he's got these guys playing real hard with real energy and as a team.
And an L!!
Chandler@ 12/13/2018 9:41 AM
Some positive individual performances
But we still have nothing resembling a system on offense or defense
But we still have nothing resembling a system on offense or defense
didn't fiz gain his rep as a player development guy? then let him do his job - which is exactly what we need right now - and when these guys are developed we'll see if he's the right guy to lead the team going forward.
technomaster@ 12/13/2018 10:17 AM
Great sequence starting 1:15 of the Knox video. * Misses 3. * Gets back on defense, covers on D, blocks shot, gets back to his own man * challenges shot again, tips the rebound to himself, starts the break... then takes it all the way to the rim for the score. Pwned it.

I agree this season should be about development, but I don't see how you separate the two. We should be developing players to play the right way -- team defense and passing for example.
We gave up 40 points in the first quarter to s crap team missing its two best players.
Yes it's fun as a fan to see the comeback, but we should also be mindful/wary that a lot of these comebacks are because the other team is playing the NBA version of a prevent defense -- avoiding fouls and clock stoppage

He left during a tussle with martin about Kanter's defense, of all things. I miss the guy's posts too. Plus, we used to go back and forth on the Giants thread about the Buccaneers.

Yeah I liked Gustav. We disagreed on things but was a straight shooter

i think you're asking for a lot. for fiz to come in under these circumstances and succeed i think he's playing it the right way. right now he's being mark jackson. hopefully the time will come when he needs to be steve kerr. if he can do it, great. if he can't, thank him for his contributions and move on.

Moderators should moderate. Posters should post. Never the twain shall meet.
