Kp hated mills, and he hated the direction of the franchise, and he specifically hated the way they treated his close friends on the team(melo, willy, kanter, kuz).

KP basically said that he was gonna sign a QO then walk unless they traded him. We ended up with 2 firsts,a recent lottery pick,and ability to sign two top free agents. Not sure what more they could of done

You could have gotten better young players and better picks for Porzingis but we went for the cap space over the future.

Right now they probably could not do much better although I think we could of held out for both picks to be unprotected. If Im the Mavs Im tanking like crazy the rest of the way because they won't get many more chances to improve the team now. I wanted to trade him 2 years ago, I feel vindicated now. Porzingis level Dickdom is rare

Yup. Im a Knicks,Mets,Jets, and Rangers fan so i know misery. Ive only been alive for 2 titles but I only remember the 94 stanley cup. Despite all the hardships I would never root for another team. Loyalty is big for me

BTW, once a upon a Nalod had a hot tempered but gorgeous girlfriend. Bit dysfunctional. The fights were worth the makeup angry sex! She was fun, really nice to look at, party with, drove me nuts, and very very physical. I did not marry her. A few girls later I met my dream girl, married her and 32 year later still amazingly happy. Maybe KP is not the one. Perhaps there is a future player or combo that will bring it together and the team relevevant for a long time.

The biggest tell tell sign....JANIS SAID last season, HE WOULD NOT SIGNED A ROOKIE EXTENSION UNTIL THEY SHOWED THAT , BUT 99% OF PEOPLE thought he was blowing smoke.

He was label the unicorn not just because of his skill set(7 3" player that can cross over and shoot 3's), his entire way of thinking(no rookie ever turned down a rookie extension), and having your brother as a manager (never seen this before in no sport)..

Who in the blue hell in Kristaps Porzingis to ask for (much less demand) anything? What made him think he deserved playing on a roster ready made for a championship or even playoff contention?
