the team with the worst record very rarely gets the #1 pick, and if you do the mock lottery draft right now, 10 out of 10 times we got pck 3 or pick 5.. atl got the #1 pick 9 out of 10 times

No "tie breaker" here - I looked this up previously. If you end with the same record as another team, you just divide up the ping-pong balls. If we finish tied for 1/2, we'll split the ball allocations for picks 5 and 6.
I think the Knicks could probably afford to win 3 or 4 more games given the pace of the other losers. They've all been playing .400+ over their last 10.

Anyone of top 5 will be a great asset and possible starter.
Trading the pick is not a prohibitive think but it should be some really franchise changing prize... like AD level

FYI, there's no tie-breaker in the draft lottery. If two teams tie then they split the odds and flip a coin to see which team would pick before the other.
I am glad we're finally tanking, just wish we did it earlier before the draft odds changed.

I don’t care about the stats either. What I cared about what the fact that he was clearly the best player that I watched today. His court vision is absolutely amazing. Guy can shoot and his athleticsm reminds me of Wade.

For the record, I do actually care about them. I just think that in this instance, him scoring a tripile double with a lot of TOs was not a showboat performance. He totally played terrific and his teammates benefited, especially because they hit shots. There is no perfect storm but that was close.

I would actual pick him over Zion because he is needed in this ISO heavy system FIZ allows, I would rather see him dishing and swishing as oppose to Zion trying go one on one, or KD, or who ever we get.

Zion shows signs of possible greatness exactly because of his team oriented play. Same with KD.

If he is not an answer for us when we will have some NBA level roster in couple of years there are a lot of very good coaches always available.
