How many more excuses do we need? Not only did Paul play this series, but they had a golden opportunity with KD out. 's system just doesn't cut it in the playoffs. They couldn't get anything inside when the Golden State D clamped down.

This. I wasn’t going to go there but I hate D’Antoni as a coach. I never thought I could hate a team as much as I hate the Celtics until D’Antoni and Harden teamed up.

The offensive set for Houston at the end of the game were a joke. deserves a lot of the blame, but I am also disappointed worth Paul. If isn't going to call real plays, you'd at least expect Paul to take the reins.
Stephen A. Just called out D’Antoni and said his style doesn’t win in the playoffs. He is right. I have always felt when D’Antoni was incredibly blessed with the rosters he has had when he won. NY, LA, and Denver are huge black marks on his resume.

The Rox go fishing!!!
The SPLASH-BROTHERS made history tonight .. at least for me !!!
No Durant! No Boogie!
Curry had 0 points in the first half of the game, then explodes for 33 points in the 2nd half of the game for the series WIN over the Rockets !!!
The Champ GS Warriors win series 4-2

Well, my dream is DEAD!
Ain't no way the GS Warriors organization are going to let FA Klay go to the next team in the offseason.

I hate the rockets too, but I was rooting for them just for KD purposes

I want KD to get his three peat and MVP and have his belly full of chips push away from the Buffett of greatness and declare he is satisfied and ready to move on. His business complete and fulfilled.

I will say it was a pleasure watching again Steph seemingly enjoying the game vs. CP3 scowls. It’s their careers in a nutshell.

Looks like banana bout sailed... But Warriors ship is still going strong.

Wow. That is really bad on cp3’s part. He crossed lines.

Disagree that the odds of keeping Davis will be "significantly" lower with Kyrie gone. In part because of Kyrie's performance in the playoffs, and the fact that Boston was able to get to the ECF without Irving not so long ago. Irving bailing might lower the odds, but I doubt it will be a deal breaker for Davis.

Could they keep Davis past the summer of 2020, when he is a free agent? David Aldridge of The Athletic has an update on that front:

I’ve heard that Davis wouldn’t completely rule out staying with the Celtics without Irving, but the odds of him re-upping in that scenario are significantly lower.

Hoping blazers and sixers win tonight. Hopefully a craptors loss would make KL think twice about re-signing there (even if he doesn't sign with us, I'd rather he was out of our conference)

I'm pretty sure Leonard and, by extension, Lowry are gone if they lose today. I'm not even confident enough to say a title is enough to convince a Leonard to stay. But I do wonder about Majiri. There were rumors a few weeks ago that he was "intrigued" by the Wizard's vacancy. The Wizard are low-key as tenuous a position as the Lakers when their cap flexibility is taken into consideration. I think Majiri is definitely looking for a way out if Toronto loses.

Lowry is owed 33 mil next year. I don’t think he is going anywhere. Maybe with an asset attached. I do think Uniri may have wanted to get out from Derozan’s contract. In that sense it was a win win for him.

Lowry is an expiring though. They can just buy him out at some point next season.
