As far as our draft picks in the bank, I don't
like anything that helps the Mavs get better.

Dragic doesn't move the needle much anymore. He's a great fit for what they do though but doubt he has much of an impact on the win-loss column at his age and considering his injury history.

Now for shooters.

Reggie Bullock?

I don't know who's left, but I've always been a fan and wondered why he's not getting much attention.

Never would have seen that coming. Will be one expensive reserve. Sounds like they did it just to keep Russell from the Lakers.

Presumably means Leonard is now a lock for LA.

martin @ 6/30/2019 11:35 PM
Zero word out of either LA team?

This guy is right...he seems to have only this year at $17M.

Did GS ask him what team he wanted to go to, and did it as a favor? This is action we should
have wanted, and besides only having one year left, he's a good player to have around our younger players.

Shooters and PG's are drying up for LA, while they wait on Kawhi.

Valid point.

Are we done yet? Now the real work begins. The FO flexed their muscle by showing a plan to build a team around the young guys.

Fitz has to show us that hes a head coach who can coach a winning team. No more tanking fellas....time to pull a New Orleans....build a team that barely makes the playoffs....let the youth grow up together.....and audition for the next wave of free agents.

I'm just glad we didnt over pay for someone long term. Bullock makes 10mil....hes similar to courtney lee.....who is making more than double that amount.

Randle and Portis are solid role players....on a championship team. Need to find the next Kawhi Leonard in free agency. Meanwhile, see which young player steps up.

Russell to GSW works while Klay rehabs. Great luxury to have Klay take his time returning. Klay can play some SF.
Russell is an asset that can be traded as well down the road.

Not so sure how well it will work. GSW loses one of their best defenders in exchange for one of the worst perimeter defenders in the league. Still, I agree that GSW needed to do this move. Beggars can't be choosers in this situation.

was a super smart move for GS. Iggy is 35. He's in great shape and can continue to contribute but GS just got younger, will probably find a way to torment teams with 3 guard line-ups when Klay returns, and worst case can trade Deangelo if he continues to play as well as he did for the Nets

We should have absorbed Iggy
