With his injury it is essentially a 2+1.

exactly. so fucking glad we didn’t waste our money on an aged gimp batman and multiple-team-quitting sourpuss robin.

it could certainly backfire.

As for the Knicks its going to say the most about Fizdale and fast. We added a vet at every position and Randle is clearly a target to be a rotation player/starter.

I like the makeup of our frontcourt for down the road.
Robinson/Portis
Randle/Knox
Barrett/Knox

Those are 4 guys that could be locked in and grow chemistry together over the long haul. Barrett and Randle's rebound & passing ability from the forward positions. Portis and Knox spacing capabilities. And imo though I may be alone in this view. I think Robinson, Randle, Barrett have solid potential defensively together. Barrett imo can be a plus defender against 3-4s as he is already a bull and will get stronger.

The backcourt though, gonna have to figure some things out.

Any plan is fine if it gets executed the way it was designed.
Fiz and FO have a plan and now we will witness how they will execute and if this was the right plan for the Knicks.
Same for the Nets. They also made their move and now when things are put in motion it is all wait and see for the fans.
The Knicks problem last 20 years was the absence of any plan and so no one was accountable for anything.
This will not fly any more.
Nets cannot afford to leave fan base in limbo. So they gave them hope.
Knick did not have this luxury.
Of course for both teams it will take 2-3 seasons to see the things through.
If this is too long for some fans time to jump ship.
