Always the funny guy

Nalod @ 10/4/2019 1:19 PM
He is not as funny as Nellie was, but I like them both. Arrogant SOB's that win. Did they have enough to win a chip? Yes and no. Sometimes its not if your good enough but if Lakers or spurs are in the way!
Nellie is rich, chilling in Hawaii and stoned all the time. MDA Snarky Arrogance is OK with me Chip or not.

Ha, Zion is barely tall enough to be a guard on our team. Only 6'6"

I don’t think he’s going to have a stellar rookie year, might get a bit buried on that pelicans roster

I actually think it's more likely he is a bust than the generational talent people hype him to be. How about dem apples?

Nalod @ 10/4/2019 10:53 PM
Can’t imagine him living up to first year hype as it stands.
As for the rest of his career? His athletic dominance in college set the tone. If he can’t exhibit that at the next level and sustain hit it won’t be pretty. BUT.......
Never saw a kid like that in College.

We're making the bold claims others are afraid to wager!

Second bold claim:

Warriors will struggle, Steph will get injured, they'll miss the playoffs but end up with the 1st or 2nd pick in the draft

That would mean the Nets wouldn’t get their pick from the DLo trade and instead get a future second. That would be awesome.

He'll have his highlight dunk moments, but I'll be interested to see how he responds as players get used to his style of play and adapt. Ultimately, though, Zion has to improve his shot, or come to terms with his shooting limitations, and how that will dictate the way he's guarded in the NBA.

franco12 @ 10/8/2019 9:49 PM
what is up with this Zion hate? I see a basketball player who reminds me of Lebron - an exceptional athlete that stands far above the competition.

Are we bitter that we lost out on drafting him?

Uptown @ 10/8/2019 11:05 PM
Not sure how much of a Bold Claim this is but Orlando will be one of the top 6 teams in the east!! Lots of young talent, Gordon, Isaac, Bamba, Vucevic, Ross and........Fultz! He looked really good in his debut against the Pistons. If he can fulfill his potential, the Magic will be dangerous.

I can see this and you know what's crazier? The Knicks looks like they can be in the top 8 in the east. If we get back to that 90s defensive mentality we can certainly be in the playoffs in the east.

Not so bold on paper as the talent is there. Young team build on draft and yoot. Its been a while since they made any noise. Clifford a good coach. Fultz, Issac an Bamba are/were good blue chip prospects. They have a lot to prove. You could be right.

BigDaddyG @ 10/9/2019 12:42 PM
Man...he has looked better than I thought he would coming out of Kentucky.
