Not hearing much talk about the 76ers -- over the past few years this was the franchise the Knicks were supposed to emulate. You know -- tank -- AKA "The Process." Honestly, I prefer our future (nowhere to go but up with some likeable players and a new regime) vs the Sixers (where are they heading?).

They are stuffed! Simmons has had a few worrying injuries, Embiid is a longer term worry (just feel he could implode at any time). Tobias and Horford have horrific, unmovable contracts, and the whole teams chemistry stinks. I honestly don't know how they get out of this mess. Very annoying for their fans who waited so long only to watch the front office blow it last offseason, just as they were on the cusp of something special.
Even if they move Embiid, they're still stuck in salary cap hell for years with Tobias & Horford contracts.

Colanglo wasted the process. It’s disgusting what he did and then they went and signed Horford.

Horford would look good though in the mavs. THJ + delom Wright for Horford and picks sounds fair for both

Not to mention the Tobias Harris contract. He’s paid like a top 15 player in the league
KP is out. I'd love to say I feel bad, but...

Right knee, ACL was left, so he is most likely favoring. Not a good long term sign unless he tweaked and it’s unrelated.

Right...... Its sad but then you remember we're Knicks fans and no other team deserves our sympathy. They are a treadmill team. They can fix it like the raptors though. Just give up one of Simmons or Embiid

I need this to be a recurring injury next year. I'm not wishing bad health on him. I just want that 2021 Mavs pick to be in the lottery

He missed a few games earlier in the season due to knee soreness as well...

I wouldn't do anything to cause serious injury to a shining star like Luka, but if I did, I would have offered Beverly and Mooch a bounty to send a little message hahahaha Oh well. At least we still have DSJ.
I feel bad for hoping he was down but I just dont see this turning around without some insane luck. Without Doncic thats a 30 win team. With 2 Shots at jumping up the NBA would have to f us twice
I did the same thing- I thought “ooh, is that an ACL injury’ for a split second then felt bad about it. Then disappointed when it was just a ankle injury- it was quite the emotional rollercoaster! We’re like the survivors of that plane crash who got so desperate they turned to eating people- that’s the level of desperation fuelled depravity we Knick fans have fallen to
In seriousness, it’s a shame, I was enjoying that Clips vs Mavs series

PHilly was a bounce away from winning vs. Toronto. They move on and GSW breaks as they did they are likely champs.
elton Brand has been in charge a few years now. He signed Horford. Simmons is out. Philly not as good as Boston.
The process? It did not really work.

Man, Luka could be limp, concussed and have Luke Kornet in place of Maxi and KO and that team will still be a threat.

Funny how some players just have "it," that desire, knowledge, and ability to win. And to raise the play of those around them, which is really how it happens.
Porter looks for real. Good Player

philly was a bounce away from pushing it to overtime.
i have a different take on philly. i think philly was ready to be the favorite to win it all this year had they re-signed butler. but butler left b/c he didn't like the culture in philly - and this was a culture fostered by hinkie and brett brown. hinkie treated players like cattle and did it for the overall "process" but brown was also the coach during all that time. they never fostered a culture of winning. it went from asset management to "ok, let's go all in with tobias and jimmy". the transition was too quick and jimmy read the tea leaves and left.
