Brooklyn dispatched its performance team to Santa Monica for an annual two-day minicamp with the players, which involved, among other things, gathering biometric data through wearables. Irving, who has spent the past nine years working with his own performance specialist, Robin Pound, balked.
When the Nets gently urged him to participate, he didn’t mince words: “I’m not doing it.” It created an awkward moment, team sources say, for incumbent players who had benefited from the performance staff and ingrained that input into their routine.
Irving’s infamous mood swings, confirmed by his ex-teammates, which followed him from Cleveland to Boston to Brooklyn, are the unspoken concern that makes Nets officials queasy. When Irving lapses into these funks, he often shuts down, unwilling to communicate with the coaching staff, front office and sometimes, even his teammates. Nets team sources say one such episode occurred during Brooklyn’s trip to China, leaving everyone scratching their heads as to what precipitated it.
The Nets are willing to look past moments like the photo shoot at the Pearl TV Tower in China, when Irving refused to remove his hat and instructed them to photoshop it out.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/2794... Durant says he doesn't plan on confronting Kyrie and plans to treat him as mercurial artist. If Kyrie continues his current play, I'm sure the Nets will turn a blind eye. Probably create a Flat Earth Museum next to the locker room so Kyrie can go and relax during shoot arounds.

He is my favorite player in NBA now!
now I remember you. You are just a KP flunkie. Better enjoy it before he gets tired again 😂
Is it me, or does the body language seem icy at times between Luka and KP. Is KP cool with the fact that Luka gonna be Luka and iso?

Read in Hoophypes rumor opinion that CP3 on Dallas would be a “Super 3”. Not sure that really makes sense. Land locks cap space and not sure what Dallas has to offer. Don’t think it would be too costly as OKC might be happy to dump the contract I assume the contracts have to make sense. Paul yelling at KP would be cool though.

The nets thing was cool to read. I’d be interested in what other teams do in terms of its schedule and process. IT bought KD’s comments were good. As for Kyrie I would imagine there is more that that in the NBA than what is publicized. Kyrie being Kyrie is under a microscope. Proof is on the court. Dude is fun to watch on the basketball court! I’ll give him that.

Anthony Davis was 26-27 from the FT line last night. By comparison Randle+Morris lead the team in made FTs and have 27 on the year thought the first 4 games

I hope so. KP imploding makes our 2 1st round picks more valuable.

I watched some of last night's game. I didn't think about this before, but you may have a point. Not sure about Luka and ISO though -- he does seem to be a very willing passer. It may be Luka being in the lead spotlight and hamming that up too.
They cam back from 10+ down to Denver in Denver but mostly with second unit. The announcers actually liked THJ!! Unlike the prior game i watched, seemed like all of KP's action was from the outside
In the first game i saw some baby hooks; in neither game did i see him mimicking a SF with drives to the hoop (who knows may still be on mend)
