Lost another winnable game. Without a clear go to man/ offensive scheme this team can't close.
I mean the one thing that Frank does well is defend and you leave the rook on a 6 time all star. Dumb ass move
Fizdale has no balls. Any other coach would of pulled BOTH morris and Randle. I thought this ISO crap was over but its obvious these two are gonna get free reign. Some nights it will work but other nights it will screw us like tonight
I think this game highlights all said...th telent is there, the players work hard enough.
They are just not coached well and the offense is a joke.
Offense/Dfense sqithcing ..put Frank in on Irving for D...call TO..put Trier in for O.
Bad loss.

It's screwed us in both games we've played this year.
Wow guess fiz forgot zo only had 5 fouls ... Julius blew it ... he had a easy dunk to tie the game... he puts the ball on the floor to much . The real reason we lost was blown easy buckets when we were up 3 . This should have been a win.... Kyrie is a b I t c H
Kyrie hit his last 2 shots with tall long players on him. He’s a superstar.
What we could gripe on is Fizdale’s play calling down the stretch... or was it the execution?
The Knicks resorted to ISO Randle, who seemed to cough up the ball every time. Shades of Shimpert with the way his body seemed to break down late in the game. Fizdale needs to do something to create better motion.
Almost epic win...
What a frustrating start of the season.
Two games we've been in position to win in spite of SO MANY blunders and terrible performances.
Randle was putrid. Morris was a non-factor.
But the award for least valuable person goes to Fiz. What a freaking horrible coach we have. Its unreal.
Garden will be calling to fire him before mid season.

GOT BURNED IN THAT 3PTR
Thats on FIZ
His D on the 3 was fine...it was just a good shot. He closed on it well and got a hand in his face. Irving was 1/7 from 3 before that shot, too.
CleaverGreene wrote:Good D by Barrett on the Irving 3...Not sure how much more you can do.
I know. Clyde acting like Irving had a real PG guarding him. If Barrett gets on him too close Irving blows right by him. Also, wasn't Irving like 1-7 on threes until he hit the back breaker?
Nets better not brag. Whether they admit it the Knicks beat them despite the idiocy of their coach. Then of course Fizdale decided not to win...thats the only way to explain it

Who is in the dog house that would have won the game?
n his 2nd game Hero-Randle has shown he's not a crunch-time player .. Randle's 6th turn-over of the game took away the chance to tie score for over time. Fizdale still doesn't have a design half-court offensive play to end a quarter. ISO or 3-ball shooting is coach Fizdale entire offense !!!
1) You don’t attack Kyrie when he has 5 fouls while he’s also a lousy defender. I am shocked nobody is bringing that up.
2) What happened to Elfrid. Why couldn’t he guard Kyrie at the end? And again.... has Frank been this bad in practice that you can’t bring him in for defensive purposes?
3) Randle and Mitch are seriously low IQ players. Morris is sometimes a moron too but he’s at least a little more reliable.
4) Fouling and almost fouling 3 point shooters is inexplicable.
5) The fouls and TOs.

Trier needed to beon the court...maybe not for Ellington as he was hot..but for Morris? Randle? Hell yess.

A rook that isn't a natural PG and shouldn't be in the position to defend a guy like Kyrie.
Fiz is pathetic
Memo to Randle: just because you're paid like a closer doesn't make you a closer. Know your role.
CrushAlot wrote:Everytimr Randle starts his move with a dribble it’s an adventure
Yeah...this is true. And in total, today was not a good set of adventures for him.

He has to get Trier in there. Payton also should have been on Kyrie the last couple of plays.

Dude, a real quick PG would've reacted faster to the 3 and probably created more disturbance on Kyrie.
RJ didn't have to be there at PG! YOU HAVE THREE FREAKING PGS AND ONE OF THEM IS GOOD AT DEFENSE!!!
Fiz is a real problem. If this team is again not trying to win, then WTF is he doing not using Frank out there, especially on a position where you can use his strength!?!?
