Honestly, might be good to start Trier again if he has been practicing well. He and RJ both think about attacking on offense if nothing else

Frank coming in off the bench is not such a bad thing right now. He can do his thing, build some confidence having a stopper-type role and take it from there.

This is a winnable game. We need to play hard and smart for 48 minutes!!

That's one consideration. Ball movement and defense are prob why Trier sat last game. And his hot/cold shooting.

Agreed. that's why i had if in bold; he needs to earn the start

I'm a little worried that Fizz may be massaging egos and giving minutes to some guys even if not earned if they start to sulk. Totally thought he was doing that with DSJ who (for whatever reason) was simply not ready to contribute in a game. Trier has been a little pouty too

We'll see. Really liking RJ

this is a game starting RJ makes sense. Start either Ellington or Trier next to RJ. You match up 2 aggressive scorers for the Knicks vs. Augustine and Fournier. Then you bring in Frank to spell RJ or stabilize things if we cant handle the pressure.

I'm not sure I trust that backcourt to defend at the start. RJ will probably require energy for Fournier on D and I'm not sure how Ellington will hold up against Augustine. I hope we call up Allen. For all their faults, Frank and Allen will defend the point of attack. They might still get cooked, but the effort will be there. I really don't want to see the Point Randle experiment tonight.

I totally fine with Frankie off the bench. Let him continue to gain confidence that way and then we will see what happens

Its been their best lineup so far this year albeit in an incredibly small sample but hey, the season is 4 games old and he's down 3 PGs so there is that...

Frank gets in early foul trouble he is toast the rest of the game.
Smart to let him finish the game. Who cares who starts!!!!!!
When frank is an offensive threat then he can start.

Barrett's FT shooting is pathetic. Unfortunate since his overall upside is so obvious.
StarksEwing1 @ 10/30/2019 7:19 PM
Only weakness for RJ is those damn FT's

RJ shoots his FTs on a line. He needs more arc. He is too strong on all of them

I call bullshit. Big part of basketball is confidence. Fizdale is not showing any to Frank.
