I don't know that you can say we're guarding the paint if other teams know they can get great 3pt looks. That is a better option, so, yeah, continue to try to fool yourself.
Snake oil salesman talk
I would like this charlatan FIRED right now for this "paint" philosophy. You're great in the paint. Whoop DEE damn DOO DOO!
Give Fiz credit. He found a positive stat that we're actually higher than 20th in the league at.
raptors rank #7 in 3 point attempts and #1 in 3fg% at 39.3%. i think he may need to change his philosophy tonight. knicks currently rank 23rd at 3 point defense allowing 37%.
Raptors have Oshae Brissett. Just saw a video of him warming up with RJ.

rj committed to the canadian national team today. him, jamal murray, sga and naw. nick nurse is the head coach. it's probably the best squad canada's ever put together so they should qualify for the olympics.
rj's gonna get alot of cheers tonight - i think he said there'll be over 300 folks he's bringing.

taj has a history of winning but he's a non-factor on the court to lead a team there. that's kind of like saying malik rose was a leader during the marbury years.
and no morris twin is a leader. didn't he throw a towel in hornacek's face? him and his bro are crackheads!
so the last 3 knicks lottery picks are all out for wednesday? that sucks.
i'm having a tough time projecting rj barrett. i haven't see enough of him to see what he can become in this league. i think knox is kinda soft and would peak as a terrence ross type of player - but ross was much better than him at this point as well. he looks confused and scared which is not a good combo - especially in ny and on the knicks.
frank is such a weird situation. elite defense but putrid offense. don't have to really guard him which makes the team easier to guard if legitimately scouted. at this point, i project his impact - if he develops a consistent 3, to be that of marcus smart. not a lead guard or starter but a 3rd/4th guy that can have a defensive impact in the right situation. he has a long way to go on offense and it's his 3rd year already despite his age and you usually know what a player brings to the table by then.
it really is a shame that these young players haven't been put in good player development situations.
this is gonna sound a little whacky to some of you but i think the knicks should go get chris paul and utilize him as a player coach who's sole purpose is to develop these young kids on and off the court. there's wont be any win expectations but he would lift the play of many guys.
Disagree about Morris. Every guy that covered the Celtics last year that I have listened to has talked about Morris’s leadership and professionalism. Fiz has been saying the same things. Also, Taj is a lot more than Malik. RJ has a tremendous work ethic, never gets down on himself and has great court vision. RJ did not have that great of a summer league. He looked like a different player by the time the preseason started. Frank is complex but improving. DSJ is looking better but doesn’t seem to be in great shape yet. Knox started off well but has faltered. Still just 20.
The
Yes .. He made a great point bout CP3 !!!
a raptor weakness is giving up o-boards so the knicks should do well in that department.
kyle lowry changed the culture of the raptors. he was and is still our engine. i'm telling you fred is cut from the same cloth. some team that needs a pg should really go after him (if we don't re-sign him) b/c he's legit. also keep an eye on our 3rd pg, terance davis. undrafted but similar guy as well.
we've done well with these late draft picks or undrafted players b/c we bring in 3/4 year college guys that have a chip on their shoulder but have been overlooked b/c of the # of years they stayed in college.
scorebot - how you doing? long time no talk. looks like it's just me and you tonight!
raptors give up the 2nd most 3p fg attempts in the league.
portis is historically a raptor killer.
