Like the offense could use work but we just look proper
Quality come from behind road win.
All our starters were negative plus minus!
Frank a -22
Next lowest Knicks?
Barrett a -11.
Randle a -7

This. Also, Randle looks like a good player now.
This is key. As I watch the game I don't dread Randle getting the ball anymore. Its like night and day with Miller coaching.

Miller has Randle playing downhill with the spacing he needs. He made good coaching adjustments.
Payton +19
Dotson +17
Play these guys more!

Dotson loves playing for Miller.
3.5:1 Ast/To ratio won this game for us
SAC had 19 ast 13 TOs
NYK had 28 ast 8 TOs
dude is messing up my gamepicker!
Actually surprised as we were down and Hield was having one of those very common unconscious shooting nights that opposing players always seem to have against us.
Glad to see DSjr with a DNP!
Frank is going to be next! Any chance we could trade for Mudiay? Or perhaps there is someone from the G Leage whom Coach Miller would like to bring up to help Payton with the PG duties?

I would love to see Kadeem get a chance. He was always ready last year when he got brought up.
Elf 27min / Frank 21min, RJ 31min / Dot 17min, Randle 30min / Portis 17min, Morris 29min / Knox 18min, Taj 22min / Mitch 25min.
Minutes distribution, a solid ten man rotation starters and backups, he manages games better. Miller is doing well

So far Miller is also tweeking the little things that result in wins, less switching, attacking the paint, minor in game adjustments and keeping players fresh. All things fiz failed to change..
Miller if he can keep this team motivated, has a strong possibility of being the coach next year I’d love to see that happen, the knicks need a coach that will be here for a long while to create a winning culture.
We almost had it with JVG, just imagine where this team would be if Jeff was still the coach, we’d probably have a pop situation.
Hopefully mike if all goes well will be our pop
attacking the paint plays to their strengths more; plus makes it harder on the D. Over the course of the game it adds up
Fizz had non-shooters hanging out beyond the 3 point line. Let the opponent's defense rest
And I know we didn't beat the Bucks, but the Kings were hitting their shots. Heild was impressive. Quick release
If Frank, RJ, Knox would learn to shoot, the Knicks would be in an entirely different place this season.

Knox's # were great starting off but lack of confidence seems to have got him down.

Knox had like 5 games in Oct at the beginning of season where he was hot. That's it. Could be that opponents knew he was a bad shooter (from last year) and gave him tremendous room and then adjusted when he made a couple, and now he is not left completely wide open like Frank/DJSr and he can't hit anything.

I don't know how a fan senses out lack of confidence in a shooter. I just see a guy who isn't making buckets

Fair. I pointed towards lack of confidence b/c his overall play coinceded with his good shooting in the begining of the year. He made the right passes, the right cuts, defense was better(though still trash) and overall just looked more comfortable..you arn't seeing any of those right now.

I guess all of those low energy assessments of him pre draft were correct. Dude gotta bring it even when his shot ain't falling
The biggest difference I see under Miller is the team plays like they believe they can win. Too many games under Fizdale, one turnover would lead to many, like a cascade failure. They're starting to believe in themselves as a team. Didnt let Hield's 3 pt barrage get in their heads, kept chipping away at the lead.
Hope Smith jr can come back and keep the momentum going Learn from Payton, and keep him from getting worn down. Will be surprised if Frank isnt moved by the first trade deadline for more shooting.

I couldn't agree more. I might extend that to the fan base who knew with predictable certainty that Fizdale's moves would end in catastrophe.
Miller's team doesn't let the score get them down. They played like the GS Warriors played us a few nights ago - with pride and determination.
It's a breath of fresh air.
While I don't think anyone is untouchable, I would be surprised if Frank is moved. The combination of Frank and Payton is paying dividends and neither player is fully up to speed - Frank in a funk, Payton is coming back. For the Knicks, in a year when winning anything important is not in the cards, what a luxury to have two high ceiling PGs developing under Miller. Sit back and watch it play out. I think we are in for a treat.
