I was wondering about Frank. It was weird.

Loved watching Frank tonight. That midrange looks solid. FTs are gold these days, and to me that can be an indication of things to come with overall shooting. He is also starting to probe, not really good at it but it’s a start

Him ending up top Knicks scorer must surely be a first?

Predictable outcome, we are missing a lot of players. This road trip was a rough one for Mitch. Harell had him seeing ghosts, then he had to deal with Gobert.

The postive from this is that Mitch sees that as good as he's been, how much more work is needed to play at their level. Good reality check. Being able to lead with his chest when defending a player who is a bruiser in the paint, would be the first thing I hope Mitch focuses on.

Frank is playing great. Looking like a quality backup. Might develop beyond that, but Im just happy he's playing that well lately. Frank starts hitting his 3s regularly, that would be a big deal.

totally agree. frank playing like this takes the sting out of not drafting sga. let's work on knox and figuring out what to do with dsj.

Frank is smooth. That jumper is butter. He gets by h is defender if they close on him. He has taken a few steps this season.
Mudiay looks even thinner and faster than last year. He is paid 2mm and with a good coach on a good team. He is building a foundation for a career. It was fun to see frank without randle or Morris. Those looks he gets are there all the time. His shooting % is 40%. Funny, his year to year stats don't jump off the sheet as being vastly imporoved from his rookie year. Last year was a waste. The eye test is showing more composure.
His game is still uneven but its smoothing out over time. 22 min is about right off the bench for now. Physically he is still young even at age 21.

we just got blown out in 4 of the last 5games..

These stats don't tell the entire story by any stretch.

and we lost 95% of the games he got more minutes in as a starter..blow outs too.

The problem with frank is he doesn't show it enough like last night frank had good game but he can't put multiple good games in row. Also problem with frank he only slightly improved so far this season 6.2 points, 3.3 assist, 2 rebound 40 percent and 36 percent three. My expectation for frank was 10 points and 5 assist this season on 42 percent, and 38 percent three reasonable expectations.

so what, Franks stats had nothing to do with that. Also, the Knicks didn't get blown out of 3 of the last 5 games so I don't know what the fuck you are talking about.

Frank is a role player off the bench for the Knicks right now as he should be. Knicks also just played 3 high level playoff teams, 2 of which are destined for deep playoffs. Of the last 5 games, 4 of the teams where high level West conference playoff teams (as composed today and last year).

Start bringing up relevant information and posters will start to begin to read and respect stuff you post. Otherwise it's just crap
