I’m with ball . . . wait i didn't mean it like that. Potential is all there to be the next luka. Playing against men he averaged 17, 8 and 7. Last 2 games before season-ending injury he rang up 32-11-13 and 25-12-10. 6’ 7”, young, natural handle, court vision, ability to make any pass. makes all 4 players he's on the court with immediately better. just feeling his way into his body and his game. I take my risks grabbing that. Even trade up like dallas did.

Of course I see the points that you make and yes there is amazing upside to his game. It’s just the negatives that Give me nightmares!! If he had a better handle / faster and more offensively gifted I guess you could compare him to a young Penny Hardaway?

What’s the general consensus on Aaron Nesmith? I really like this guy for a pick in the late teens. I see Nesmith as a pure movement shooter, the Tyler Herro of this draft. Slept on and will outperform typical projections. If we could develop him defensively he could be the prototypical 3&D type.

I mean, it's not like Gilbert wasn't any good outside the locker room. Legit scorer. The Arenas comparison would also mean Maxey isn't a point guard. I prefer Cole out of the two, but it's close.

His 3pt shooting woes meant I didn’t bother reading many draft profiles until now, but apparently he’s meant to be quite clutch, and a good defender as well as scorer. If he can improve his 3pt shooting, then he’s quite intriguing

His release is kind of funky. Not Haliburton funky, but it needs some work and I'm not sure it's a matter of just more reps. That said, it seems he can get to the lane at will. He and Cole are the same age, so that isn't really a deciding factors between the two.

My prayers is that we get Wiseman and surround him with a bunch of diversely skilled players. My own personal vision is to play 3-4 Pg. to play 3 guards a lot and to have two Pgs on the floor a lot at the same time. All of them can shoot a nice% from 3 with dribble drive capacity( passing a given) Payton Pritchard to me at pick 27 is a no brainer. We don’t have one. ONE. One pg who can shoot. He’s got an incredible 3 point shot abd he won’t be spaced out in the nba. Even if we get hayes ball halliburton I still want Pritchard at 27 if he’s there. It’s imperative to find good shooters who have the other abilities OVER the more splashy type athletic player. You need all types of players. Need to stay away from the Kevin Knox type— looks good in 1-1 abd not very good in team play. All of our Pgs pretty much are bad players. I’m looking to the draft to the d league to free agency to trade to improve that pg position. I don’t think Julius Randle is the future here— my hope upon hope is we get into that top 3 abd get wiseman. I also like Toppin but he’s not the same player.

We know he can shoot and score. What we needed from Cole was to see him be successful in the tournament. His in-game decision making and inability to show he is a winner is the biggest knock against him. Without that, he is not a top 10 draft pick.

After this, I never trusted workout videos again!:
Lmao I was thinking about this workout video when I saw Anthony’s video. See when people get at Knox they need to remember Jerian who was the definition of a scrub rookie. Every time he got playing time he looked scared and slow.

I thinj the hybrid offense Fish ran played a huge part. One quarter PnR, the next triangle... chaotic times or, should I say, typical Knicks player management.

This is my first time seeing this video. To be fair, he has a really flawless shooting form so I probably would have been on the Grant train myself at the time. With that said, I have learned in recent years to completely ignore this crap. Everyone looks like a star.

While he did have some decent games on the Bulls and Magic. He was slow for a PG and unlike say Frank didn’t have the size or ball handle to compensate. Also he always had to be wide open to shoot a 3 because he could only do a set shot and it started low and was slow.
He was a bad pick, because Phil knew his uncle Horace and Frank actually was much better for the triangle based on his physical profile.
