I’m not as hot on Edwards or ball as others. I love Toppin and he will be a very good nba player but not for us.

My value of Nesmith is now off the charts high and I would select him at pick 2 if wiseman was gone without hesitation.

I’m not sold on anyone. Way too early.

I'm just happy we got that 2nd pick in the 1st round. I think we can nab a shooter or Pg there, depending on our 1st 1st selection.
Any word yet on the lotto and draft dates? (Last I heard lotto was pushed back.)

There is talk that it could be pushed back all the way to September. That would be awful. Some guys test the draft waters and return to school. Not sure how that could happen if they go with that late a date.
If the nba resumes with the playoffs they could just have the draft on 6/25 or July 15. Current players could not be traded but other than that it would be a normal draft. It sounds like the nba is resuming on 7/31.

Sucks for the people waiting to get drafted, likely they will indeed have to wait until after the playoffs have finished- not sure what they’re meant to do in the meantime.

I just hope they at least do the draft lottery as soon as they’ve decided what’s happening rather than making us wait until mid-playoffs.

Jut read if they do start at the end of July, the latest end date for the finals will be October 12th. I presume that means the draft won't happen until after then

Supposedly the lotto will be in August. Usually the draft is 1 week after game 7 is scheduled so if the latest is the 12th then maybe the NBA draft will be October 19th?

And as you said the post above, this is going to impact some players. I imagine though that the NBA might do something about that.
If these riots keep up, we might not have anything this year, really. Stay safe people.

Looking at Walter Perrin's 19 year track record with the Jazz, I'd say there's a very good chance we pick Obi Toppin if we stay at our projected lottery position.
