I get what you're saying, but Mikal was a way better prospect Vassell. Better scorer from all three levels in college. Also, he's a shade taller, weighs more, has a longer wingspan and more on ball versatility.

Good article on Obi. Still not as high on him as a player, but I'm definitely rooting for him. Hope he's rubbed off on Knox.

He’s been hitting the weight room thrice a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and playing against NBA players Jalen Brunson, Kevin Knox, former NBA player Terrence Jones and other draftees like Seton Hall’s Myles Powell, and his brother Jacob since Aril.

I'd bet you Bitcoin to croissants the mob would have flipped their wigs if we had picked Bridges over Knox. Just like Mitchell over Frank. But short sighted revisionism allows them to flip the other way now.

This thought just crossed my head. I wouldn’t be stunned if Toppin goes in the top 3.

Hoping we can trade Knox for Kira Lewis then come away with a Vassell, Lewis, T.Bey draft The speed, athleticism and length of this trio to go along with RJ, Mitch and Frank would be ideal for todays NBA. Bey is a nice compliment for Mitch with his defensive versatility and 3&D potential. Giving him ideal spacing and help defense. Vassell & Frank could provide some real strong perimeter defense. Lewis & RJ could be a real nice tandem in the backcourt.

That's a quality foundation with cap to spend on veterans to allow them to get some seasoning.

This is why Knox would probably be the best possibility of getting that done. Especially if Vassell is the pick at 8 who will command mins on the wing as does RJ. Then we can to fall back on pick #23. Knox I don't think he will be the defender that can guard both forward positions and provide help defense to pair with Mitch to provide the type of defensive frontcourt that could make the team special. His mindset and game is tailored to be mostly offensive while lacking in the dirty work department. But he doesn't really have the handle, blow by ability or shot creation skill for that. He could develop into a nice catch and shoot player like a Bertans though. But for the shot at Lewis and what he could potentially be. Its worth the shot imo.

I can see him slipping- I haven't heard any team say anything good about him or be enthusiastic about him. He looked bad in the workout, he comes across badly in interviews, I don't get how he's regarded as a top 3 pick

I never talked myself into that front-court. There was never at any point that I had a lick of faith in it. Stephon Marburys’ “They scared now” interview did nothing to help me.

League sources say the Warriors are weighing whether to accept a trade offered by the Bulls that would send Chicago their no. 2 overall pick for Wendell Carter Jr. and the fourth pick. If the Bulls trade up, sources believe they’ll select Wiseman. If the Warriors drop, it’s unclear who their target is, but I’ve reported in the past that they’re high on a number of wings in the draft. Unfortunately that wasnt an option for the Knicks. Hardaway couldnt stay healthy either, and he took up his share of cap space.
