I like Quickley...Didn't think he would go this high...

Not a fan. Could have picked him up at 33?
I like him not sure he would of made it to 33 with who was left on the board
I admit I was hoping for Hampton, but thankful to avoid all the "RJ" confusion.

Quickley a good shooter from 3 was 43% at Kentucky. Really more of a combo guard than a pg. RJ gonna run point
Agree in terms of combo. Feel there were better shooters we could have picked. One just got picked by the Celts.

Havent seen enough to comment on that. It does say something about how the Knicks FO feel about him, to go through all these moves to get him. Glad Smith jr. and Frank have a player in their rearview mirror. We need a plan B which doesnt involve overpaying.

what was that about?

His PG skills are still developing. If Frank and DSJ can't climb that mountain, they need to be cut right now.
Mcdaniels now gone to Minnesota.

Thats what this season is about. Hopefully both healthy and ready to make their case.

I thought so too. I haven't seen a picture of Calipari and he looks a lot older but still has his NY accent.
So far Minny and Detroit the most active. Boston added more shooting in Nesmith and Pritchard.
Hopefully we can add a shooter like Terry or Bane at 33. Like Ramsey as well.
I’d be happy with Bane or Dotson.

Bane will go to Boston. They are trading it to Grizz

Quickley can play D and has a much better wingspan than Pritchard. 14 month age difference, for what it is worth.
I think his defensive ability was the clincher.

Yes. He is also a big game player. Just thought he would be there at 33. Bane was also on my mind.
For what it's worth...we had 27 & 38 before the Utah trade, and ended up with 25 and 33 tonight.
Just saying...

A Thibs pick? A Frank who can shoot? They probably liked him over Bane because of his PG potential.

I'd give us a b+, but only time will tell. They showed creativity in hitting their targets. Only time will tell, but this was a deliberate strategy.
