If we do get Kuzma, I wonder if we'd flip him plus expiring salary to the Kings for Buddy Hield (if the Kings want rid of his contract- they were interested in Kuzma too).

Would clips move Jerome Robinson for Morris?

I’m not entirely sure- nuggets only had 7 players in last night’s game and I think he’s saying the Knicks front office shut up shop before the game was over (rather than field calls late at night.

I think they probably have lined up some deals and decided to sleep on it before deciding which (if any) to take. Perry is pretty patient like that (see the melo trade)

Probably, but he looks like a bust. He was drafted way higher than anticipated and hasn’t shown anything. Odd that Jerry a west took him so high, doesn’t usually make such mistakes.

Is he a really a bust though or just stuck behind others? I haven't seen him as a pro, but at BC the guy could shoot and quick release

I haven’t seen anything on Google so I am going to assume it’s referring to fake news.

If we do not get some assets in return for our vet rentals today then Perry should be fired tomorrow. Team is going no place; we don't need them

FO narrative was rushing in to get these vets (after being humiliated by the star FA who didn't even want to meet our purportedly FA-desirable FO) was worst case we flip them. (Let's ignore the fact that as rentals they may play selfishly [looking at you Portis] or consume playing time to the detriment of our young player [Trier, Knox, at a minimum]

whether incompetent or deceitful, this should be grounds for termination

If we take on an albatross contract (e.g., Russell) to squeak out a few more wins this year (and hurt our drafting), he should be fired and the entire organization should be forbidden from ever mentioning his name (like the ugly dude in Harry Potter)

Now if he gets some assets, then great job Scott, I didn't really mean any of the above.

I’m wasting the morning refreshing twitter rumors and forums! We’ll end up doing nothing of substance..

I’m going to a work meeting in 45mins so if anything happens it will be then!

Just so weird how the details of this trade are unfolding, never seen it seep out in bits and pieces before over multiple days

LOL and now this:

It's like Riley just told the NBA front office he is cooking something and to hold the deadline til he's done

I heard a rumor that the lakers want Morris AND Mitch for Kuzma. If that’s true Perry should laugh and hang up the phone with them

I don't think that's allowed.

Golden State has agreed to trade D'Angelo Russell to Minnesota for a deal that includes Andrew Wiggins, a 2021 protected first-round pick and a 2022 second-round pick, league sources tell ESPN. Warriors will send Jacob Evans and Omari Spellman to Timberwolves too.

perfect. Literally a swap of overpaid scorers

Phew! I was getting nervous we were gonna give away an unprotected first and Mitch for him or something crazy. Obviously teams always try to rip us off which I’m sure Golden State was trying to do

Lateral trade. Like Spree for Van Horn and the 28th or so pick.
