Not saying much, but Cleveland is actually a step up from Detroit?
Nalod wrote:Not saying much, but Cleveland is actually a step up from Detroit?
I'd say Detroit is purgatory and Cleveland right now is hell.

Drummand can actually make that team interesting.

Yeah, but more realistically, it's going to be a season of two young point guards hoisting up junk while Love and Drummond mope around looking for a way out.
Still can’t fathom why the warriors took back Wiggins. Did they have some sort of agreement with d-lo when they signed him that they’d send him to the Twolves at the deadline if he did the sign and trade.
I thought Trier was for sure going to be traded.

And DSJ- both can’t be happy at being stuck here

yes

Yeah its a bad trade unless Wiggins really turns it around which would be unprecedented based on his season numbers. 0 cap flexibility now and you throw Wiggins in the starting lineup screws up their shooting
How do we find out the official haul the Knicks got in the Mo trade? Seems like Harkless, a 2020 1st are for sure. Then there's other reports with the Detroit 2nd, 2021 pick swap w/our later 1st, and the PG in Europe. What's the truth.

It may be as simple as no one wanted D-Lo and that contract. the only two teams in the chase seemed to be wolves and us, both dumb teams. We dropped out when Mills got the ax (and got smarter in the process)
GS did not need another guard next season. and are short on SFs
Warriors got draft picks. Wiggins is walking in with a strong team. Remember all the castoffs the Bulls had in the Jordan era? They came in and if they could handle the Triangle and wanted in they got sucked up in a vacuum of accountability and leadership already there. GSW is a championship culture. DRuss got max money because of Durant. That's a lot more than other teams could give him.
GSW used him as a harbinger of value to get something in return for Durant. Remember, They gave up nothing for Durant. 3 years, 2 chips, wiggins and some decent picks is a pretty good deal! If they can get wiggins right he'll be tradable as some point.
Im ok we did not finish that deal. Minny got their man at a higher price. NOt saying Russell objects, but you have on the table Max money and GSW to play with Steph or less than and play in Siberia? Easy. Now the money is there and he can be top wingman with KAT. He wins too.

all of it
still laughing at the lakers demand of Mitch or trier in addition to Morris in exchange for Kuzma, being fussy at giving up green, then removing kuzma and green from the package when we refused to add Mitch, What jokers

Kudos to Perry - that's an amazing haul for a rental.

This. All of the crapping on the Knicks for not being in on one of the two opportunities to take on salary for assets can stop now. I do t expect lol Knicks to stop but this was a great trade.

I'm not sure if that's true, or they are saving face. Remember the BS Jeannie try to sell when AD talks failed. Man...Lakers are on equal ground with the Knicks in terms of dysfunction. At least Jeannie is still pleasant to look at
