Trading Gibson would be pretty f’ed up, unless he asks for a trade.

Yeah and don't see what value he'd bring back. We'll still need solid vets in the locker room.

Dot and Frank are solid... or unsolid?

There's rumors of a Clippers package which includes Shamet, Harkless and maybe a 1st. I might be all over that one.
Yeah, don't see that happening at all, Shamet is important to them. I still think there's a chance of packaging Taj with Morris to maybe make that possible, though you'd probably have to include Dot if you want Shamet. If the Clips are smart (which they are), they just need to look at what competing teams can actually field a package. They'll realise there really aren't many, so they don't need to bid against themselves.

Not if it's to the Clips (who want a burly C for the playoffs)- gives him a shot at a chip

There's goes D-Lo. TWolves can now trade a very good backup SG (Malik Beasley), expiring in Evan Turner, okay bench player in Hernangomez, plus the Nets first rounder (lottery protected but if they make the playoffs it should be a good mid round pick. Plus can sweeten it with a 1st of their own. Game over for D-Lo fans
Wolves must surely have D-Lo deal lined up as otherwise they have no PG what so ever:
A potential last minute Morris suitor? I think they can still trade either this years first or 2022's, depending on which they sent out in the 4-team Capella trade.

You never know. They are a win now team and Morris is a better player now. Shamet is like a young JJ Redick. Morris would also help them shore up their small ball lineup based on the potential of a running into the rockets during the playoffs. Morris wins against PJ tucker at the 5. Honestly after that trade the Knicks legit might be able to pull a 1st too from the clippers. The Rockets literally retooled to take them out. They can risk it, or they can ante up and trade for Morris knowing it would make them the clear favorites to come out the West this year. I think they ante up.
Also Payton’s contract isn’t the best fit math wise but I would hope the Knicks hit the Wolves up to at least try and get a second rounder for him. They have no PG and just need someone to man the position until the summer when they’ll get a more permanent one.
If the Knicks can come away with Shamet, Harkless (who is a better throw in player than Lance Thomas was....) and two 2nd rounders for Morris and Payton. I would actually rate last summers FA a solid C+. If they pull a 1st in that package I would have to give them a B-.
Wolves need a pg
Houston needs size/ center
Clippers are looking up at lakers and need to improve
Lakers are totally win now w old LEbron and would want to improve
Nuggets are very good but not good enough and would want to improve
There are plenty of buyers

Now Houston is in play. I would take a 2022 unprotected first for him from them.
This is kinda exciting. The possibility of getting young assets and picks then either getting Presti or Ujiri just makes me giddy.

A 2022 1st would be perfect, not only is it meant to be a deep draft, but also it would mean we had 2 first round picks in 2021, 22 and 23

The Clippers potential package seems better, unless the Lakers can make another side deal to bring in more picks. How about we make both parties happy? Lakers take Bullock and Morris goes to the clippers?

I never trust the clips since that trade deadline when we were in talks to move Shump to them, but they just strung us along til the deadline so no rival landed him (they had no intention of trading for him).watch out knicks!

This is probably what both LA teams really want TBH

Different situation tho. Both teams are in win now mode and have little to time be playing games.
