Where is Oak! Totally disrespectful. Crack a nose and ask how tough they are
Minutes before the brawl started, Knicks coach Isiah Thomas asked Carmelo Anthony not to go into the painted area around the basket, despite the fact that they were not members of the same team. Thomas later said that because Denver head coach George Karl kept his team's starting players on the court for the closing minutes of the game, which Thomas thought showed a lack of sportsmanship, his orders to Anthony were to "show some class."[16] However, Karl responded by saying the brawl "was directed by Isiah".[17]
Thomas was not penalized after the brawl, as an NBA investigation ruled that they did not have "adequate evidence upon which to make a determination,"[18] but several writers criticized the NBA for not including Thomas in the suspensions.[12][17][19][20][21] ESPN analyst Marc Stein called Thomas' explanations of his comments "laughable,"[22] and commentator Greg Anthony, a former Knicks player, said he "never had a coach say that to an opponent."[23] It was also suggested that Thomas was attempting to resurrect the physical tactics of his former team, the "Bad Boy" Pistons.[24][25]
In response to Thomas saying that keeping the Nuggets starters on the floor in the final minutes of the game was unsportsmanlike, Karl said that he "never thought about running up the score," and only wanted to "get a big win on the road."[26] However, several sportswriters criticized his decision, and some said that he should also have been penalized.[26][27][28] It was also suggested that Karl was trying to humiliate Thomas due to the perception that Thomas had mistreated Larry Brown, a friend of Karl's.[19][27][28] Karl was also blamed for putting his players in a position to start a fight.

I’m
Talking about the spurs game when Thomas wanted his players to break Bruce Bowen’s ankles for the Bs he used to do. They didn’t yet have the rules about ensuring a player could land after a jumper. And BB used to abuse the unwritten rule about letting a player land safely.
Total disrespect Jae and the grizz. Should be ashamed. Someone deserved to lose some teeth.

Sissy move? No. It was a matter of honor. They show no class in victory.

When he started 24 straight games...
When was that? His rookie season? I feel I can't remember as dude hasn't played many minutes with any consistency for 2 seasons.
He played 1 game of 28 minutes this season, the rest in the teens and low 20s. Tonight DNP on a team that is doing awful and is so not worried about his development that DSJ gets showcased. He's probably not going anywhere anyway, so we'll get 1 more season at least. A lot of young players show more at this point but even though our organization is bad, he's not earned enough to me.
Our fans who love or really want to find anyway to support him I wonder if it's also about being worried he's going to turn good if he goes, still traumatized by all of the young players we've let go over the years.
He's never doing well for any long period since his rookie season. Our fans are always complaining about him or raising questions about his game which is then defended by those who seem to treat him as if he's their son or best friend or something haha.
I don’t get why people don’t look up stats before making such emphatic statement of supposed fact that are so clearly wrong. I mean, just google that shit so you don’t look silly

Maybe I just don’t view it the same way. 1) The Knicks need to not be worried about being respected. That’s the last thing that should be on their minds. If Crowder wants to be a fool, let him be. The Knicks need to worry about themselves though because they are awful.
Honor? Lol
I say all this AND I AGREE that Crowder is an arsehole. I don’t see it as being that big of a deal though. Keep playing. Stop with this “poor us” garbage. It’s pathetic.
PS, what Crowder did was unrelated to anything Bruce Bowen did. Bruce Bowen did crap to actually hurt players bodies, not their feelings.
So how big of a lie do you think this is?

Hahaha Kudos to the behind the scene workers, that was a trash move by crowder he deserves to smell like trash .
Our society has gone so politically correct you can't call anyone a b---- anymore. Probably a good thing. But a recent one.
is there a mercy rule in professional sports?
Too bad they don't relegate NBA like they do in European soccer! We wouldn't have to put up with this crap.
There's no mercy rule but there's a code of conduct that professionals share. Memphis are guests at our home court. They won. Show some respect to your hosts as everyone on these teams are members of the same fraternity after all, there's no need to do what Jae did.
Let me be clear i don't have a problem with the steal. But then ok, run time off the clock and if you take a three at the end of the shot clock so be it. That isn't what happened. Crowder went immediately to score, and not just a two point shot, but a three point shot.
Why? They had already covered the 1.5 point spread. The Over/Under number was 222 so they were clearly over. No incentive at all to try to go for a 2 for 1 or whatever was going through his head shooting with that much time left in a decided victory.
