Does he shake things up? I think you could make a good argument that Ellington, Portis, Payton and Harkless should be bought out. Rose has no ties to the negotiations and promises made to guys signed this past offseason. Not sure that he will go there but none of those guys should be back next year.

i don’t think he would buy out all of them but he might. I do think it would make sense to sign Lamar Peters and get Iggy playing nba minutes.

Matches with some other reports that suggested that Rose won't have a introductory conference, Knicks will just release a short statement saying we've hired him.

Doubt he buys out all of them, but he needs to mandate that the young guys get a major bump in mins, especially Zo, Frank and Knox. Agreed that none of the guys you mentioned should be back next year.

Better to keep Leon out of the public eye. Nothing to gain by asking questions he can’t or won’t answer. Keep him off of late night talk shows (Isiah). His team will speak as time goes on.

This seems like a good sign. I also am encouraged he is interested in hiring the Raptors gm in some capacity.

LOL....I went through his instagram just to get a sense of who he is and he definitely seems legit. He's worked with a lot of NBA players, some Laker players most recently, and he apparently balled with Durant in HS. Played for Washington State when Tony Bennett was the coach. Agreed on Rose bringing in a shooting coach....

I saw on twitter Isola was let go from the Athletic. Is he just doing his radio show and Nets broadcasts at this point? The guy likes to trash the Knicks on twitter.

I barely looked at his stuff on the Athletic. He had a few good pieces, but nothing that would make consider keeping my subscription. I think I might of used like two of my free monthly articles on his stories. Vornukov is a little better, but I'd like to see a bit more deep dive analytics based articles.

Why would you hire a new president and not have a press conferences? That would be some real Bullsht, it's bad enough there was no press conference after firing the head coach and president.
