He played really well tonight. Also seemed like not the best game for Payton again. Payton has huge deficits in his game. If Frank plays like he did tonight consistently I think the job is his. He appears to have a fan an supporter in Rose. That might help his confidence a lot.

Definitly an intangibles guy. Makes other players better with nice cuts and sweet passes and being in the right position to get a key rebound. (He's also still just getting comfortable with the Knicks schemes.) No wonder he started on the Clips.
The end of the game on the last play. Inbounds set up was 2 MVPs in the backcourt and 2 guys in the corner. Frank on Westbrook and Harkless on Harden. Knicks can throw out some defenders when needed.

This was huge. We won with our D and by abusing them in the paint. All of Hardens shenanigans didn't help. All game Westbrook would get into the middle of the lane and then kind of almost lose control of the ball for a few secs, then he would gather himself and usually score. Until the 4th quarter , towards the end he finally got stripped. I was excited, it felt like sweet redemption.
RJ closed the game. That was massive!! This is the process that has to happen and why Morris had to go. RJ needs to do this. Even if he fails, he still needs to do this.
Randle had 16 rebs, key block shot down the stretch and y’all go to turn overs. HE manhandled the Rockets in the last 5 minutes.
CLyde was calling out MIller and second guessing him but the play still turned out ok. Everyone loves Clyde and lord knows he has had to sit thru many stinkers over the years. I thought he was over the top down the stretch.
Frank managed the game down the stretch. He was not dominant when you look at the shots he passes over and think about the defense then one has consider his impact. Did Westbrook fail to close or did frank defensive pressure influence? Bit of both? We got the win and last time I checked that was good1!!

Yeah we are used to beating teams like the Cavs behind big games from Randle, Payton and Portis while RJ gets relegated to the corner and mitch, Knox and frank sit and our front office calling it progress. A win against Houston behind the young guys is huge.
