The 200 on the plane plus everyone those 200 come into contact with etc. There is also something called being observant. If someone answers they are fine but they are clearly sickly and exhibiting symptoms don't allow them on the plane.

Normally I would agree, and especially if the topic was anything Brexit related, but there may be something to this. The virus does mutate but I don't think it'll effect the vaccine. Time will tell on all of these accounts.

I don't really think you understand the process very well or who the main culprits are and how things are shaking out. Kind of par for the course.
I have been for giving MONTHLY checks of $2K to each adult (with more for bigger families) from about April onward (with some qualifications). The democrats in Congress passed $1200 stimulus for each dependent and an additional $500 for kids in the House back in May (after the initial COVID bill).
Since May, Trump has done ZERO. McConnell wants ZERO DOLLARS for stimulus checks but is afraid that the 2 Georgian senators will lose if he doesn't finally pass something, anything. Trump has been AWOL as usual.
This current bill does not cover state and local budgets, so it's still VERY SHORT and a catastrophe in the making.
Democrats are negotiating against a terrorist (McConnell and Republicans) who don't mind shooting hostages (US citizens in need) is about the shape of things. Trump is way off to the side shitting his pants and signing pardons. Today he made an inconsequential speech and you slobbered all over it

Rule number one is to never take anything Trump says as fact. He has been Prez this whole time. Why now say this and not the other 8 months we been in this pandemic? Other places instantly gave 2k A MONTH! We got 1.2k once and now 600. Also him saying this means nothing. If he truly wanted it he would have said it during the negotiations.
The truth is the government is rigged for the rich. Voting for Biden won't fundamentally change things. Everyone has a script to play. The GOP plays hard ball. The Dems cave in every single time no matter the issue. The result in the end is the rich get what they want. There is a reason why even during the start of Obama's 1st term the Dems had the Senate and the House and still got less done than Repubs can while only owning 2 of the 3.

The only reason Trump is even talking about $2000 a week is to get Moscow Mitch to keep the fraud investigation going, repeal section 230 (which I don’t have a full grasp of) and win back public support.
