There's supposed to be some connective tissue with the next Dr. Strange, so yeah, there'll probably be a cliffhanger of some sort. I'm glad they opened the door for Vision to come back to life.
Awesome series I thought. People complaining talked themselves up to solving everything in the MCU and setting up everything in the MCU.

I’ve also been watching The Expanse every week. Now that this season is complete, I’m going to have to find something else to watch. I feel like they peaked in season two, but I still enjoyed every season so far.
Season 2 was my favorite also, but all the seasons have been strong. But this past season is game changer. So many interesting, coherent plot threads. Can't be wrapped up in a final season.
Using real science in space combat and travel is so good. I love the tech
Too funny, was just talking with my dad yesterday about a new series that we could both start watching so we could chat over it and The Expanse came up for both of us because of what others have said in this thread.... and I'm glad you have reinforced it and can't wait to start
And BigDaddyG... Frankie Adams "Bobbie"
Its a YES for me
I did struggle with the first season, but now am more than halfway through season 2 and its pretty plain sailing-faster pace, much easier to understand what's happening (and season 1 makes more sense), definitely worth sticking with. It looks great too
After finishing the last Star Trek Discovery..I started Star Trek Enterprise. It was OK but I gave up on it after 3 episodes.
So I started "The Expanse". Season 1 was kinda slow and you guys were right. It's a world building season. Season 2 and Season 3 are awesome. I can't stop watching it. My favorite character right now is Chrisjen. That old lady is smart and fearless. Bobbie is awesome. I also love the Roci crew.
You made the right call on Enterprise- absolute trash, it sunk the franchise for over a decade!
I’m still enjoying The Expanse too (I watch one ep a week so am still back on season 2), glad I stuck with it through the first season- thanks to everyone who recommended it!
I haven't read the books, but the writers are almost finished with the series. I think one of them was GRRM's assistant for a while. I'm sure he learned his lesson his lesson from what happened to the Game of Thrones television series.
Finished the whole series. This has got to be one of the best scifi shows I have ever watched. The writing, the characters, the believable science....well science fiction wise.
For my next show...I am trying to get back to the "Man in the High Castle". I kinda got away from it in the middle of Season 3. I like the show but it's like a slow burn so sometimes I kinda lose interest.
Question. "Battlestar Galactica" Should I put this on my next to watch?

I tried Man in the High Castle. It's a slow build up and I got distracted. I'll try again during the lengthy lockdown. The first few seasons of BSG are awesome. I felt it lost it's way in the middle and the ending was meh.

I binged MR. ROBOT last month. I wish I watched it earlier. It's a good show. It veers a little with some unneeded storylines, but the pace is fast enough were you can grind through it.

I loved that show when it was on, and it’s mainly excellent, but then last episode really made me turn against the show- it ruined it for me! It’s a great ride but the destination felt like such a con, even the mid season finale of the last season would have been a better ending for the show. Definitely the most disappointing series finale of all time for me, mainly because of how much I used to like the show.
It’s quite similar to Voyager, but with the scenario followed through (what happens with lack of easy access to repairs and resources, internal crew politics and tensions, do you keep trying to find home or give up and make the most of things?), good acting and characters, gritty, flawed people, ahead of it’s time for sci fi shows (you can see the influence on the expanse)

I hate that last ep so much, I think if I ever re-watch it I’ll stop at the end of the season 4 mid-season finale and take that as the real ending.

Looking forward to your review, please dont include spoilers!
Watched "MonsterHunter" fun movie. Better than the last Resident Evil sequel.
Been watching "The foods that built America" on the history channel. Fascinating stuff, but some of it seems to be more Hollywood than fact.
Funny thing is 1970s dystopian sci-fi like "Soylent Green" and "Rollerball" predicted a world where a handful of corporations control most of the manufacture and distribution of food. The products featured in this series are now part of only a few conglomerates that are doing just that.
Fortunately no Soylent Green lol, we have "Impossible meat".

I'm slogging through it now. Much better narrative flow. The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg get a much tighter focus and the emotional tones of the characters make more sense. I remember hating the Flash in Whedon's version, and now I think he's likeable. The CG is much better and the action scenes are far superior to the the ones in theatrical release. If you're a diehard DC comics fan like me, then the Easter eggs alone are worth giving it a chance. Now, for the bad. Some of the dialogue is a bit clunky and borders on comical. Four hours is also a bit much. This should have been chopped up into episodes. Just think about this. There was enough material to make two DRASTICALLY different movies. The Whedon cut is an abomination and tried to create a movie that wasn't really there. The Snyder cut tried to course correct by giving a triple heaping of the original vision. It's too much. I feel an hour could've been cut and we still would've had an enjoyable, cohesive movie. I'd give it the same ranking that I gave the force awakens, which is probably about a B-. Like the force awakens, I enjoyed the movie but I don't see myself sitting through another full rewatch. Maybe I'd watch the first and last chapters of the Snyder cut. I wouldn't rank it up there with the Nolan Batman trilogy, Winter Soldier, the first Hell Boy or any of the other "comic book" movies I have ranked at the top. I enjoyed the first Monster Hunter game, so I might give the movie a chance. I'm really looking forward to Mortal Kombat tho.

I'll watch anything but I do love comic book movies. I mean...I thought Green Lantern was OK and not the wreck that most people view it as.
I agree with most of what BigDaddyG said. They really could have done 2 movies with this material. I always though the Whedon cut was a Marvel try hard which really messed up the movie. Round hole square peg.
I would give this movie a solid A. I can see myself rewatching this movie over and over again. I also didn't mind the 4:3 format.
Auqabro is gone. He is more inline with his character in his stand alone movie.
The Flash is and Cyborg are more fleshed out and I agree that the Flash is more likeable now.
The only thing that really bothered me was....mera and her accent...I was like...what the heck was that?
The Amazons need their own fucking movie. One of the highlights of the Whedon cut was the Amazon vs steppenwolf and the Snyder cut gave you a little bit more.
A lot to digest but I should stop and I might end up giving out spoilers.
Enjoy it. We did.

I never got into "Resident Evil". I might put that on my list.
Need to watch "Monster Hunter".
I don't think I can watch "The foods that built America"...That would probably mess me up. I still haven't seen "Super Size Me"

I'm sure he learned his lesson his lesson from what happened to the Game of Thrones television series.Finished the whole series.
Loving BSG right now. Gaius is an annoying character but for some reason I love his story lines. Horny little bastard.
Grace Park is just wonderful. Her characters as of right now in my viewing shows a lot of traits of an abused woman that just wants to be loved...or am I watching this all wrong?
Tricia Helfer is gorgeous but she has nothing on Seven of Nine.

I’m looking forward to the Snyder cut out of curiosity. I thought the original cinema release was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen- I don’t understand how any director or studio could have signed off on the cgi moustache removal, especially as your opening scene. Just showed how little they cared!

I used to find Gaius annoying, but as it went on I realized what a great actor the guy playing him was and quite enjoyed watching it for his performance- can’t remember if I ever grew to like Gaius though!

The Superman stuff didn't really need a reshoot. I thought it was better the way it originally was. I saw another review and the guy pointed out the elephant in the room. A lot of the scenes that were cut in the theatrical release involved women and people of color. And many of these were integral to the plot. I'm not calling racism, because I don't know. But I don't know how anybody could sit down and watch the scenes added for the theatrical release and think they were better than what was on the chopping board. The entire situation is just weird.

Yeah. You I think it exceeds the source material in many ways.
