I have been accused of taking such a journey of late but its been about 44 years since.

Would you care to share the experience?

I was introduced to ayahausca relatively recently. It had been an overwhelmingly positive experience. Thinking about doing it again though I'm interested in sitting with other plant medicines.

They got medication that can help stop that, you know. Lol

That trailer looks really good though. Love me some Predator. I'm still a big fan of Predators (Adrien Brody, et al) and re-watch it until today

F that. Sign me up for a session. I'd be a paying customer

Ha, glad I'm not the only one who thought Predators was good. I'm generally a fan of most of Hawley's stuff but he strays toward the esoteric in a lot of works. But damn... that trailer looks good. I'd rather watch this then enough shitty Dexter reboot.

Really enjoyed it. The animation is very good. Left a lot for a possible sequel, or series.

Saw it last night and it was enjoyable. I was a little saddened by the Prey Easter egg at the end, but I'm excited for the expanded lore. The animation really allowed them to go wild on the fight scenes.

Luckily for fans, the Predator’s sci fi reign is far from over, with a second Trachtenberg film, ‘Predator: Badlands’ set to premiere in theatres this year, on 7th November 2025.

The upcoming movie will be ‘Set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Elle Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary…’

And you wouldn’t be wrong! I’ve got Dink in my Walkman right now!

Just finished binging this insane Chinese animated series on Netflix. It is truly unhinged and belongs on Adult Swim. Without going into too much detail, it's about a highly skilled assassin who loses his memory and resurfacesnlater as a hair stylist. He must survive and try to regain his memory when his old enemies discover his location and hunt him down. Animation goes from derpy to really detailed in an instant. The jokes also hit.

"Please Release Me " that was a banger.

Is it the heat?

The guy behind me today on a main road was rubbing his tires against the curb. I pulled into the center lane to get the f*** clear of him, and he sped past me and nearly hit the car that had been immediately in front of me. He had to swerve into the center lane not to hit them.

Clearly shitfaced.

Then I ran into a store, and an old wrinkly tanned-brown woman with ruby red lipstick was asking nonstop questions of the poor lone girl working there. The girl couldn’t even get a word in, it was unnatural. Somehow I was able to get my shit and get out. The wrinkly hag yammering the entire time. Severe ADHD or something. If I had an ice pick I would have put my eardrums out of their misery. I legitimately felt bad for the girl.

Somehow I made it to my next stop without getting hit, as one car after another, with morons looking at their phones, were drifting out of their lanes. Par for the course.

Now I’m in store number two, and a woman and her hell-spawn are completely blocking the aisle. She says sorry, and proceeds to just stand there reading the ingredients on a package of Cup of Soup. I turn around in disgust, and she yells at me “I said I was sorry!”. There’s a 100% chance her kids will be assholes too one day.

I ask an employee where the Poppi soda is (that shit is delicious) and he says very clearly “go to aisle G37”. Turns out G37 is yard tools.

I go to grab eggs, and there’s an old couple standing right in front of them. The old guy saying “if you want eggs… get eggs” to his wife. Somehow they are both ignoring the fact that I’m standing there, waiting for them to make their monumental decision. After a full minute of this I abort grocery shopping and leave in disbelief.

I stop by the pizza place and order two things. He forgets what I asked for and I remind him a couple of times. I ordered to go, but he was setting me up to stay. He put my stuff in the oven, and I shit you not, about 5 seconds later opened the door and took my stuff right back out. I asked for sauce, and when I got home found I got none.

On the way home, got cut off by somebody that was not even looking. I could see it unfolding, otherwise I would have gotten slammed. Looked like a soccer mom in a Lincoln Navigator talking on her phone.

And now I’m home and apparently a fly the size of small bird found his way inside my house.

F*** this Sunday. And this island. Although I didn’t get rear-ended or side-swiped, so I guess I’ll call it a win.
