Jimbo5..... Basketball question... What do you think of Kai Sotto? I see a lot of fluff pieces on him. I see the skills which is very Porzingis Lite. However, I don't know anything about his work ethic. He also seems to defer a lot to his teammates here in the states. A lot different when he played in fiba u18 and the like

Skills wise i do think he has some skills poor man's KP if he develops well. He was suppose to go to college here but opted to follow his dreams of playing in the NBA so he went there and has been training there ever since. I think he has a pretty good work ethics. He does need to bulk up and develop his strength alot more. But looking at his body before he left for the states and now there is an improvement in his body but still a long ways to go. He seems like a mild mannered d and it kinda shows on the court. Hopefully if he bulks up and gets stronger his confidence and assertiveness will follow. I am rooting for him but he should Continue working on his body and his skills diligently to have a shot at the NBA.

Believe it or not this was all over the radio -- back when the Knicks were still considered a great franchise!

Indeed, 'twas Cheech and Chong who named me.
And I assume you were named after a Maneuverable Reentry Vehicle?

From this vantage point in history, it seems almost absurd to imagine Cheech & Chong collaborating musically with heavies such as George Harrison, Michelle Philips, Billy Preston, Tom Scott, Carole King, and The Blossoms. And yet, in 1973, this strange partnership did, indeed, come together to record a song named "Basketball Jones" for Cheech & Chong's Los Cochinos album. Philips and The Blossoms sang backup (credited as "The Cheerleaders"; Harrison played guitar; King played electric piano; Preston played organ; Scott was on saxophone. It all came together at A&M Studios in Los Angeles after Lou Adler, who was producing the album, played the song for Harrison, who was recording in the studio next door. Harrison wanted to be part of it, and once he was on board, everyone else joined the team.
"It was a big coming together," recalled Chong in The Vinyl Dialogues. "It was a product of the times. That's what was happening then."

Hi All
I’m also new to the forum just had my approval sorted. Big Knicks fan from across the pond, London England. Been a fan of the Knicks since the 90’s after a family trip to the big apple. Remember having such heated arguments with everybody back home as everybody was a Bulls ( Jordan & Pippen ) fan! I feel a sense of optimism following the appointment of Rose. Looking forward to the return of the season more importantly the off season/ draft/ FA. Go Knicks!!
