There are some good players in the draft. He’s the only franchise player imo
He’s 7-1 prob 260 muscular legs no fat. I know it’s basic but that’s how you learn great fundamental footwork. He’s working hard he’s a smart kid too. He’s just going to physically dominate guys quick. Not many his size
I’d feel dam good about this team going forward with Barrett abd Wiseman. It would be the first time in over 20 years. I don’t feel that way with ANY other draft pick. Those would be our 2 main guys and we could just fill it out smart

If the mock draft as above is anywhere near accurate we got a real chance at landing this guy...
none of the mocks mean anything this year. usually, all the guys that are going to get drafted make the top 100 or whatever, then over the course of the conference and the NCAA tournaments the list gets refined. I think where they guys where historically ranked in HS probably means more than a mock draft at this point

Here is the thing with Wiseman...he flashed some faceup skills but really wasn't that impressive. I know, it's not fair that he didn't get to play enough games to show improvement. But that's all we have to go on. It's not like he showed Austin's smoothness...he has a lot rough edges. Bamba showed more potential as a stretch threat and we're still waiting for him to put that facet of his game together. So yeah, he looks impressive physically, but so do Kwame Brown. I'm not saying Wiseman will bust like Kwame, but I'm saying we have to be realistic in our comps. If he makes normal improvements, we're looking at rim protector/ shot blocker. Andre Drummond is a good comp. Not saying that has no value, but that's not a transcendental skill set.

He’ll go number 1 when all is said and done. We’re gonna see tape that will be KP like. But it’s all for nothing until draft lottery. My focus is pick 6-7

Yeah...the thing with KP is that he flashed rudimentary stretch skills in one of the toughest leagues in Europe. Tape can only show so much.

If he can hit an outside shot with any kind of consistency, then we need a PG that can attack because it would be a lethal 2 man game with Mitch able to peel off and hit an open mid range shot, 3pt or go to the rim for his 99% efficient lob jam!

The video looks good but I still have my doubts that he’s hitting the shot with any kind of consistency. He would have taken shots in the game at least a little. He’s not shooting at all though. Maybe he’ll get better over the Summer. It would be a pretty big benefit for the team.

It’s good he can hit a three but he hasn’t put any muscle or size on. Comparing him with Wiseman you’re gonna find out they are two different beasts. I’d like to think they can play on the same team if need be.

No way we move Mitch. Even before the handle, he was doing Wilt Chamberlain level stuff. Not worth moving to make room for Wiseman.

I thought Mitch looked like he'd put on a bit of muscle in that video (could just be the lighting)- I don't think Wiseman has put on as much muscle as you seem to think, but I could be wrong
We need Jason Kidd as coach. He'd turn Mitch into the next Greek Freak. He'd use him at PG and develop his court vision. Then we'd fire Kidd for not getting along with management after 3 years. But it'd be worth it!

Wiseman is the kind of player who needs a good franchise fit to succeed.
He needs a Carlisle or a Spolestra or a Spurs type situation.
There is a thin line between inexperienced and dumb. Wiseman sadly strikes me a bit of the latter. His raw physical tool set is what will draw people in, but that has diminishing returns going up against NBA grade athletes at the next level.
I'm glad you are back Briggs, but honestly every player you tout from now on, people are going to shout at you to ask if the guy has muscular legs or not.
"Give Christian Wood - 4 Years / 80 Million!"
But Briggs, his legs are only muscular enough to warrant 10 million a year....
Nothing about Wiseman's game screams "smart" to me. His decision making seems right up there with David Caruso leaving NYPD Blue.

Nobody like this guy.7–1 250 doing half court penetration drills off the dribble. He’s 19. Hrs gonna be a nightmare match up at the 5 but skilled enough to move to 4. You can’t teach being 7-1 250.
Maybe LaMelo Ball the only other guy who can physically dominate his individual position based on physical size of the player. But he doesnt shoot it well
