Wassup fellow Knicks fans. I'm an upcoming youtuber that makes vids on the Knicks. In this one I explained why I believe Mitchell Robinson has all star potential. Tell me what you guys think and subscribe for more Knicks content.

Really the only thing holding him back is position and perceived value when talking about NBA stars. Deandre Jordan made 1 all-star game and Rudy Gobert has only made 1 so far. This is probably Mitchell Robinson's upside as far as comparisons if all goes well. Maybe he can become better offensively than both, but becoming a traditional star in his current position and role is a bigger challenge than any other spot in the league. He can easily be the most important player on the team, but more than likely in order to become a league recognized star he would have to be on a great team alongside 2 other all-stars. If Barrett develops and we draft or sign a top tier PG or another wing, Robinson can get there as a 3rd star, but we would need to be winning 50+ games at that point.

Using the per 36 min numbers in your video - Mo Bamba seems just as good as mitch.

Wonder what it takes to trade for Mo. He's buried on the bench in Orlando. In place of Portis, I'd love to see occasional Bamba+Mitch frontcourt.

Thoughts on what it would take?

Mitch needs to shoot the ball, something he's not shown a willingness to do. Until then he's a starter, maybe even an DPOY (I love his ability to switch and defend smalls and think we can build a D around Frank/Mitch) but no all star, no way.

I just dont understand why a guy like Mitch doesnt watch film on Duncan and learn to bank it off glass from 12 feet. Duncan wasnt the most eff% from there but he made guys come out to guard him. When Mitch makes guys come out and guard him everything will change for him. He's very young. I have no problem with him focusing on what he's best at but his value will eventually be determined by how complete a player he is

I'm just not sure Mo Bamba can play the 4. He did shoot 35% from 3 but it was on less than 2 attempts a game.
