volume scorer like Trier but seems to have pretty good court vision and scores from everywhere but def gets guys involved. What he did during the last NCAA was impressive.

I think it’s a tough league for skinny 5-10 guys. He’s certainly got great body control and great range. I’m not sure where he fits in the nba.

Love the Harper pickup. I think the Knicks should trade DSJr and bring harper up to the main team. Harper does not have the size to be a full-time starter, but he should be good as a 10-15 minute backup point guard who helps spread the floor.

Harper is a good news/bad news player

Good news is he's not afraid to take a big shot when it matters. Bad news is he's not afraid to take a big shot when it matters. He's going to be completely reliant on his speed, so when he loses that first step, it will be a big push against his potential production.

However, there's nothing wrong with giving him a look at and some burn. He will need to score at volume though to be useful. From the coaching side, they've got to get him to take much better shots.

The danger with a player like this, if he starts to break through some, is to overexpose him. A limited roster around him can create that situation. You've got to manage his minutes and his matchups.

A player like this is where a good coach makes a difference. Spolestra could mine something out of this guy, whatever he had to give. A guy like Woodson could not.

He's a 2way player at this point. Can't expect much. Maybe long-term he develops into a good 3rd PG.
