You can compare covid to a carcrash. That's fine... but wearing the mask = don't drink and drive, wear a seatbelt, don't text and drive etc...
The mask wearing will come closer to an end if everyone just accepts it and quits the big ass gatherings and wears a mask to where you want to go. It sucks but again, hopefully the vaccine really will help majorly. It's amazing people can't show a little self control.
actually the comparison would be not wearing a mask is like drinking 3 bottles of vodka, and then going for a drive on the play ground at noon and not trying to mow down little kids.
It's not a self control issue - it's civics 101. People that are against masks don't respect anyone else and they don't care if their actions hurt other people.

But... but why should I have to do ANYTHING for ANYBODY? WAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! The mask- I have to like, put it on, and take it off- its such hardship!
