Don't like the idea of him going there with all our draft intel. I'd be wary if I were him, the owner wants the GM reporting directly to him (if you've ever seen than hilarious Stauskas draft video you'll see how intrusive he is).

Yeah. "*all* our draft intel"! *THAT* could change everything!
Good lord, help him pack.

Take one look at Perry's track record and really ask yourself what franchise has thrived while in was in the FO.
He has a right to want full control, but the job still seems more secure than the one he has now, under a lame duck status

My confidence in Perrin is high, so i have no problem losing Perry, but we have to get that future 2nd round pick back to give him up.

If Kings land a pick above ours, yes it becomes a problem, not sure why you find this such an outrageous concept

Absolutely. We paid for Perry and it's only right we get back that compensation.

Why is Dumars even there then? Seems so illogical. Joe won’t be the team president going forward? You hire an “Advisor” but not to help restructure? Leon should ask the the pick back but its a dick move if that prevents Perry from landing the job if thats what he wants. Leon if he likes Perry should offer him a new contract. 1248, you should ask Yourself why he is respected or “what don’t I know” in regards to his reputation.

Sac got an owner as whacky as Dolan

Divac was his Isiah. Every wackadoodle owner needs one.

So Joe Dumars is a stupidvisor, as Jon Taffer would say.
smackeddog@ 8/19/2020 3:31 PM
Just watch what a nightmare working for that owner is- watch as the entire front staff slowly realize “stauskas” isn’t a suggestion, it’s an order! Then they all fall in line and pretend its a great idea:

Not even a tiny fight. He must be a complete a-hole if you disagree with him a tiny bit.

The owner is a big stickler for shooting, it seems. Everyone killed the Kings when he lobbied for Heild in the Cousins trade. He happened to be right on that one, but you would think the owner would give his guys more leeway.

clearly, they need a butt funnel and/or need to embrace solutions, not excuses

I don't think Perry is anything special, but I actually think he did the best he could, as his task was to realize Steve Mills 'vision'
SupremeCommander@ 8/20/2020 12:17 PM
The Knicks gave up a second round pick and $1 million in compensation to pry Perry away from Sacramento in 2017. If we could get a second rounder back from Sac, I would let him leave for Sac now so we can add more young talent to the mix

The centerpiece of our youth movement was a 2nd round pick! And he didn't panic at the trade deadline. He moved Morris for a pick as opposed to trading picks and young players for players with long contracts that dont move the needle.
Perry has been ok. He may be the Mike Miller to Mills's Fiz. He's better than Mills but I wont shed any tears if he leaves...
