Knicks · Knicks need NBA offensive firepower (page 1)

That’s all I’m looking for. Guys who can score. I don’t care what position it is/— the NBA is a scoring league. I’m not interested in role players or defense first guys/- doesn’t work. I like smart hard working players who play team scheme defense but we have guys already who help is on D. We need nba scorers who compliment Barrett.

Briggs, understand that there is an offensive focus in the league these days - but the best/championship teams all have several 2 way players (eg Toronto, G.S.) - not just offensive stars (eg Houston). I get we can't play offense 3 vs 5 but really think we should value guys that play both sides of the ball. Think we have to determine player roles as well - is RJ our facilitator or will we land a traditional PG so RJ can more of a wing. If RJ is the facilitator (like a Harden) - think we should go for a 3 and D guy (eg Vassell).

We need everything...shooters, finishers, defenders, creators... unfortunately this draft kinda sucks and We have to take what we can get.

Yep- the depressing truth! We need everything and the draft and FA this year is weak (though there are a lot of shooters available in FA, so at least you can take care of that need). I know I keep saying this, but I'm fed up of having so many players who aren't good at anything on the roster- Can't shoot, can't defend, can't pass, inefficient, can't play defense, not particularly athletic, low bball IQ? Sign with the Knicks!
