The New York Knicks are finalizing deals for Mike Woodson, Andy Greer, and Dice Yoshimoto to join new head coach Tom Thibodeau's staff as assistants, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.Woodson was head coach of the Knicks from 2011-14 and was the last bench boss to coach the franchise to the playoffs - going 109-79 in three seasons. He spent four of the last five years as a Los Angeles Clippers assistant.
Both Greer and Yoshimoto worked under Thibodeau during his previous stints with the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves.
Thibs gets a couple of his guys
I'm definitely feeling like this is the best coaching staff we have had since Pat Riley and his crew
Agree, we have a solid group of coaches. Thibs and woody have history in the garden and actually won. We get a sought after development coach and a college assistant that relates well to stars and lastly, 2 coaches that know how thibs works.
I am confident with the draft and moving forward with the team
Glad to see him back- great guy, and very under appreciate stint as Knicks coach
I think that's the last of the coaching hires, likely next hires will be some player development people

Seems like a very well-organized coaching staff. There was talk of Kaleb Canales being a holdover from the previous regime. I wonder if that may be the case for a final assistant spot.
