That Max Rose uses his platform to utter that he should sell the team is a bit unsavory. That Dolan is a petty man like trump is true. Putting aside my political emotions I can see Dolan reasoning and while not says I agree with is vindictive response......”I UNDERSTAND”.

I don’t know the political preference of most here. But you left quite an impression with me 4 years ago. Why? Your hard support for Trump. At the same time. You divulged your wife was a nurse and you had a daughter in college. Nalod has a daughter and thought often about the kind of predator Trump was. Tilt to Bill Clinton is the common response by trump supporters and I am equally as repulsed. Bill was voted in already. With Trump we were given a choice. His response to covid is self serving to his preservation and not to the countless front line medical professionals who were needed to protect. If the hospitals got over run the system collapses. That it didn’t is a testament to them And common sense.

The pettiness he showed is embarrassing and his reasoning is off. He's mad about a supposedly politicizing the team, so he decides to get revenge by further politicizing the team. Also, Dolan's ineptitude over the years cuts across party lines. Rose was just making an observation. The Knicks would be better off if Dolan sold the team.
In all fairness. For all the callous things Dolan has done over the years. In some instances, he's been generous and thoughtful to players, relative strangers, going through hard times. Gestures I could never see Trump making.

Nolad. Of course you’re my friend and there’s no doubt you’re a decent dude in real life. I’m not really into politics— I think a lot of people became to obsessed with it the last 5 years. I used to think politics was the most boring subject— now it’s just an annoying subject. My view 4 years later is my view before 5 years ago— I’m no longer interested. I’m not taking the time to vote for anyone. My focus is on family friends and health. I have my opinions—- sometimes I’ll let them be known but that’s it. I’m not into all of this side taking and belligerence. I like watching jay Leno’s garage or Seinfeld. Lately I watch the price is right in the am.
If Nalod makes a public statement about Dolan nobody cares. I’m not a public figure nor a NYC representative.
I would likely vote for Rose if I lived in his district. I think he should not have gone on record as saying a non public enterprise should change its ownership structure unless there is fraud costing taxpayers money or it endangers their health.
Dolan and his shareholders are free to be ruinous .
Dolan responses was petty and he risks alienating fans. He did so when he supported Isiah Thomas AFTER Anucha’s day in court. despite that the teams still climes up the value scale and the teams gains in value.
We all want new coaches, players, management when losing so why not new owner. ITs open concept that new will be better. show me an ownership structure with self made successful alpha leadership with proper funding that demonstrates few financial constraints in pursuit of “winning” and I’m down with that. Until then I root for the team to succeed and Dolan stays in his miserable world and keeps us out.

I just know about the luxury tax, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Dolan has paid more than $150 in income taxes over the past 20 years.
