As a causal fan of Nash I would not have thought he’d be a head coach. Did not see that.

I do like what Barkley said about him that he needs to stop thinking he is is the smartest dude in the room.
A man who is a fool and does not understand his limitations is not respected.
Not sure why James Harden wanted to be traded to Philly or Jersey right now. That Rockets team may very well be his best shot! They have some nice talent with Wood and a healthy Wall!

This is actually really sad and will end up very badly for the Nets. Ah well, screw them.

Horrific contract! Guess they assumed if they didn't extend him now at this number, he'd go to the MAvs or something next offseason. But $40mil per for a C in this day and age- yikes!

He gets to move on from Hassan Whiteside to frank,, to Wood and never have to account for any cap.

Well of course it has to play out but how many of these contracts will be millstones in two years if not sooner?

Good point. Also as a trade chip he does have value. Utah might not win a chip with a duo of Mitchell and gorbert but without him they slip even more. Can always trade him to Mav’s for a 1st rounder, Keith Van Horn, and some obscure Euro.

It's probably the one of the fee plusses. They've never really had the option of loading up on major free agents, so they'll have to overpay to keep their guys. Was Carlos Boozer their biggest free agent signing? Even then, I don't think they signed him to a Max initially.

I like the concept of the deal, I don’t know if Kuzma is the right player for it. I don’t think he is a that key of a role player. On the flip I would love to sign Mitch to something similar or maybe 60/4.

Mitch and his family can also get a reality check from Nerlens Noel
Jeez Kennard, OG, are off the market.
It sounds crazy but realistically it feels like we have been black balled in FA again. Lauri, Lonzo, and Oladipo might be the best free agents next year.
We drafted two rookies at two of their positions and Oladipo and RJ might not be the best match.
