Caught the end of Bucks/Celtics. Ref call on last play was silly. Ref was out of position and should have been waived off by other ref. Tatum 3 was crazy. Giannis got tight on the 2nd FT!
Sac tip in by Heild looked fun.
chubby Luka still hung 31 pts.
The team that is in trouble
Bucks
They are insanely think off the bench— lost incredible quality depth. All their picks gone. They will need help at trade deadline but have nothing to trade!

Took a little of the sting out of the Knicks loss. I wonder if all their fans and media think the season is now over.
Dear Enes Kanter: Julius Randle with hops my @$$.... Love, Allanfan20.
Mavs 0-2 now. I feel good about that pick being high. Obviously cant trust KP to be healthy and that team isn’t really good outside of Doncic in a tough western conference

As much as I love the Mavs losing, I have to admit that tonight they lost to the defending champs. They opened on the road in Phoenix, a team seemingly on the rise. I can't predict doom after two games, but that pick is worth keeping an eye on....
The games have been so lopsided

I’ll take terrible NBA games the entire season if it means the Knicks are developing and Dallas gets the number 1 pick and the Knicks by luck also get a top 5 pick.
Can someone do a quick reminder about how the pick works? Is it protected? How?

2021 unprotected
2023 top 10 protected and eventually turns into 2nd rounders
Warriors look awful- wonder if they look to give up a pick for cap relief at the deadline, when they are lottery bound- their tax bill is beyond ridiculous.

Yeah, they look horrible and it’s surprising. I know the invincible era is gone but it’s not like they don’t have pieces to compete right now. They can’t stop anyone.

I get that. Not saying it’s a definite lottery pick. However with the uncertainty of KP’s return date/health along with a tough conference I don’t see that pick being in the 20’s. Even with a healthy KP I don’t think it’s a great team outside of Doncic and KP. Plus with the new lottery rules if they did end up 13-14 they could very well move up

Other than Steph, they do not have any floor spacers...The ball movement isn't as good because Wiggins and Oubre are ball stoppers for the most part and neither of them are consistent 3 or shooters. And you are right, so far, they've been terrible defensively. Its still early though and they've played 2 of the top 4 teams in the east...
