Christian Wood is an nba superstar now. He’s more valuable to his team than James harden. Watch the rockets— he’s their new key

By itself, wasn't a bad signing. I think people questioned the signing in connection to the other moves they made.

Detroit did their overpay for a guy who wanted to be there and wanted more focus of him as a player for the team. I didn't think he would pan out in that role and no idea if he is but kudos to the production.

I read one story that part of Jerami's decision process was considering the team had minorities for coach, FO, owner. Kudos to making that part of his thinking

Tom Gores who owns Platinum Equity group who is under fire for owning a Software that provides prison management software? Nope.
67 year old President of basketball white guy Ed Stafanski? Nope.
GM Troy Weaver. Yep.
Assistant Malik Rose. Yep
Assistant Pat Garrett. Nope.
Coach Casey. Yep.
Holiday was to get the money as reported in Denver but wanted this opportunity. It is what it is. He is getting a lot looks. Pistons and for that. Matter Rockets at this moment have worse records than knicks.
Randle is better than Wood, is, and has been a solid dude. Wood has not been. Wood plays on a team with when healthy a top 4 back court in the league. Harden and Wall.

Maxey dropped 39 today.....on 33 shots. Sixers were short handed so Maxey said, "f*** it! I'm going for mine!" Lol....

Think most of us were high on him during the never ending pre-draft limbo, but you weren't, for some reason. It's be interesting to see how good he'll end up- think he could still crash and burn, but he does have the potential, for sure!

More injuries this year than any other? Feels that way

More injuries, plus covid decimating rosters- seems like a (as many assumed) mess of a season, though a very unpredictable one- teams likely will be packed so closely in the standings, one badly times covid outbreak could eb the difference between making the playoffs or ending up with a high lottery pick.

Yeah. I think we can make a couple of distinct statements that all may be true. Jerami is playing very well. The Pistons as a team suck and are one of the worst record-wise to start the season. The Pistons don't have very much in their starting lineup with Blake and Killian not playing all of the games.

Mavs starting to win -- not a shock with Luka of course but also in spite of Covid quarantines of players. Most interesting to me is winning coincides with change from "small" to "big" line up with Willie Cauley-Stein and Maxi Kleber starting. If it takes how long until the copy cats jump on that trend? Anyway, hard to make assumptions in such a nutty season and time.

COVID is starting to affect the league and it’s only early Jan...... Vaccines will be needed sooner than later

Christian Woods and RJ battling to see how can be the worst 3point shooter. It's neck and neck
