Knicks · All around the League: 2020-21 season! (page 28)

Caught a quarter and a half of the Lakers/Houston game tonight. Also, watched some of the last game they played vs the Lakers several days ago and the energy and body language of the Rockets players is terrible. Harden is playing at half speed and seems disinterested....Cousins has already been thrown out of two games. I feel so bad for Coach Silas. He's been an assistant in this league for over 20 years, I believe. He finally gets his shot and this is what he has to walk into

VintageMelo against the Craptors Monday night in the fourth quarter.... Nurkik went down with a quad injury, looks like Kanter is going to get serious burn now. That's going to put even more pressure on that All-Everything-Offensive backcourt...

Meanwhile other media folks are shedding tears for Steve Nash because of the 3 superstar egos he has to coach in his first job.

MDA does the heavy lifing. Nash is like the Buddy coach dude. Pressure? Not really, its sort of all on the three of them to figure it out. "You wanted this, now make it work.
This starphuch will get heavy play and will be promoted. Its not a Knick hate thing. Harden and Durant are a big deal. This team just does not have three allstars, but really 3 HOF'ers. Kyrie is not a lock but he does have the talent. They win a chip, he inches closer.

Marbury trajectory was HOF until the vaseline got to him. It happens.
Take away the Uniform, would I watch a Lakers vs. Net final? Yes. And so would any basketball fan!
Sorry, this hs nothing to do with the Knicks.
My only fear is Dolan is calling Leon and whining and wants us to make a deal for ANYBODY bigly famious.

Nalod @ 1/14/2021 9:19 AM
at the end of the day we likley will see Kyrie as borderline personality disorder/manic depressive/ or some other condition that warrants sympathy then just “Kyrie is a douche”. He cost them nothing in trade and if he retires or requires medical leave we have to see if this was disclosed as a preexisting condition in his contract, or were they able to insure against it. This is likey none of our business via HIPA rules.
Kyrie is not a criminal, wife beater, child molester, or substance abuser. He is erratic. My opinion is based on garnered sympathy he has from teammates both past and present as well as coaches. The talent is there. The focus is not. Why? Maybe in time we’ll find out.

I agree, I was just saying it’s ridiculous how coach Silas who put in 20 yrs in the league gets one of the worst possible positions as a coach yet ppl are crying that Steve Nash gets 3 superstars in his first job that he probably didn’t deserve.

This is very true, he could be in need of a mental health recovery. Plus his team mates are not mad at him and we’re supportive

I guess James Harden was holding him back.

Nalod @ 1/14/2021 11:50 PM
We try to attract players. Wood repels them. Harden wanted out?

Why didn't you recommend him for the Knicks??

Sneaky move by Pacers nobody is talking about. LaVert is a potential good fit and they solved the Olidipo thing by upgrading the position with a very good. Young player!
Seems to be on paper a less than clumsy fit than Brogdon and Olidipo.
Indy, who was pretty good I think might have done something quietly smart.

I agree they did well for themselves and got out of an enigma

And people wondered why his draft stock fell. Sad thing...I'd say try and get him for a second-rounder I'd he were a better three point shooter.
