They actually played better last night -- coincidentally KP had the night off.

Mavs fans openly admit they played more cohesive without KP last year as well. He really doesn’t fit well next to Luka.

huh, what are their reasons for stating that?

Knicks TOTAL cap is $92M and that includes $11.5M payments to Noah, Evans, Wayne Ellington lol

Not just that, they're also paying Bertans $16mil per year for 5 years to shoot 36.8% from three and do nothing else

I wasn't a buyer of Bertans last offseason and I have no idea what is going on in WAS. Couple of interesting young players on rosters. Beal, Russell.

Deni seems to be playing well?

3-12 and bunch of delayed games?

timing

I could not believe that. Up by 5 w 12 seconds and lost Why didn’t they simply call To after Beal 3?

They want him to play inside more. Basically before he got injured last time he took a lot of 3 pt shots and top of the key/elbow mid range. Now he is taking them even more.

I honestly think he should have came back in February if he didn’t think he could play 100%, but it’s helping our pick as they struggle so I’m not going to complain.

Good for Russell, he deserve that win for all the bullshit Harden and KD left on his door.

With that said these guys both almost scored 150...... that is insane.

I don’t want to eat crow. Not tasty. I know some of you need the nets to fail hard. Odds are they don’t win a chip but to revel in their defensive woes just two weeks since the harden deal is premature. They are a work in progress. I doubt we have arenas full of rabid fans come playoff times based on mutated virus becoming even more wickedly disturbing. Thus home court advantage is not as prevalent.
Even so Nets really just need to make the playoffs and be healthy. We know they can run most teams out of the gym. The defense and health will determine any champion let alone theirs.
From a basketball stance given I’m not emotionally attached to Nets either way, I’d like to see if no the knicks vs. Lakers in the finals, a star studded match with Nets. It could be a fun match up and good for the league to have a ratings return.
IM sure there will many more Kyrie moments to laugh about enroute!
KnickDanger @ 2/1/2021 10:51 AM
Absolutely the playoffs are the litmus test for the Nets, although I am okay with any struggle they endure in the meantime. So how about this — for playoffs Nets occupy second seed in the East (where they currently stand) and the Knicks end up at the seventh slot (not far fetched — they’re like half game from that spot). Let’s do it.

ha that would be ungodly wild

I haven't checked out the standings in a long time, prob like 10-15 years for the Knicks, just the Tankathon order.

And I know it's a weird season and all and was surprised by the records of MIL, BOS. Only a couple games over .500

There isn't another player in the league that I would want to see win an NBA Chip

Oh wow, I guess I didn't understand this from a Dallas perspective previously:

But the Mavs should be aggressive in finding someone even better. The problem is Dallas can’t trade a first-round pick until 2027 unless the top-10 protections are removed from the 2023 first being sent to New York. If that happens, then NBA rules would allow Dallas to trade firsts in 2025 and 2027, plus pick swaps in 2022, 2024, and 2026. With the ability to trade their picks and a number of talented young players on the roster, the Mavericks could put together a strong trade package for any star who might become available, such as Wizards guard Bradley Beal.

Would be able to force Dallas to give us a second-rounder to remove protections? Maybe a second-rounder in 2023?

It would be a double win and certainly the Knicks are in the drivers seat there

When is the last time a player specifically named the Knicks as a preferred trade destination? I'd pass, though I acknowledge he fills a definitive need.

INDIANAPOLIS — JJ Redick wants to come back to the Northeast.

The New Orleans Pelicans guard’s family lives in Brooklyn and, at 36, he is yearning to be closer to it. Redick wants to return to the 76ers or play for the Nets, New York Knicks, or the Boston Celtics, according to a league source. The Athletic is reporting that the Sixers, Nets, and Celtics have expressed interest in acquiring the sharpshooter.
