Teams are super cautious because of the bucks situation. They at least want to try and create the illusion that things are on the up and up.

Bobby P to the Buck for the MLE. So long crazy eyes

I can see the appeal. Handle still needs to be tighter.

I thought we we're going to have a season of watching Teague chug along at MSG. I guess Elfrid doesn't look that bad by comparison.

Jeff Teague 2019-20 3PT% 0.333 signed for 1-year by the Celtics for 2.5m Elfrid Payton 2019-20 3PT% 0.203 signed for 1-year by the Knicks for 5.0m
Looks pretty bad by comparison.
Teague would have made a lot of sense for the Knicks if he were signed instead of Elfrid, but for the same 5m deal. But I guess he still wanted to compete on a winning team and was not ready for a a semi-retirement role of teaching young guards on a perrenial bottom-dweller.

Yeah, but Elfrid had better assists, better defensive numbers and can play more than 20 mins per game without collapsing. I'm not calling this a "win", but Elfrid is the engine am exciting tank needs. Teague is a good, used spare tire you get to smooth things out along a stable playoff ride.

Some highlights from the G-League select team. A good opportunity to view our likely lottery pick in the next draft. Kuminga and Green would step in and be one the top 10 functional athletes in the NBA right now.
