I expect some big interest there. He was drafted by Perrin, is a CAA client, and is a Duke player. He can also shoot and is on the younger side, so playing next to Barrett is a fit there. He's fully healthy from the Achilles and the delayed season allows him to get back on the court fully ready. Obviously some risk associated with that injury, but given his age and role as a spot up guy, I can see him coming back fairly seamlessly. I fully expect him to be a Knick target, maybe on a multi-year deal.
Hood is 28 and injury prone. I'd consider a one year deal. Deal him out for Portis and take it from there.
If we can move Bullock to suit a need then this is a good replacement. Same for Ellington (FA). He obviously wants more than hew as paid or a longer team than one year.
Thus, I doubt he signs for one year.

It depends. I think the MLE might be too much for him, but a desperate team like Milwaukee might bite. They're down to like 7 rostered players. The can give $15m to round back into shape. If he plays well enough, he might even get traded to a contender. To many moving parts like Dot, Ellington Bullock, etc. to say, one way or the other.

No more 1 yr deals, what does that even accomplish other than selfish play.

It's a showcase. In some cases you get a Morris situation and sometimes you get an Ellington. But consider this: one of the only reason we're even mentioned in these trade rumors is because we have flexible contracts.
