There's a little duality about this draft for me
On one hand, I think there's not a lot of high end talent in the draft if any
On the other hand, we did not get tournament season. If you didn't get to see Chris Paul him against West Virginia or Dwayne Wade take over for Marquette, there's a really great chance those guys fall. In the case of Wade March shot him up the draft board. So I don't really know for sure if drafting at 4 is better than 8 this year

Lamelo-1
Edwards-2
toppin-3
Okoro-4
Kira-5
Avdija-6
Vassel-7
Killian-8
haliburton-9
Maxey-10
bey-11
Sounds about right
But I think
Avidja is better than okoro
Killian is like a tie with kira

You don’t even have Wiseman in your top 11 but you’d easily have Edwards at 2 who has made some super scary quotes while displaying effort, attitude and supposedly conditioning issues.

You spend ANOTHER 2.5 hours and this is all you came up with? Your keen detailed version forgets “Wiseman”?
No pun intended.
What about Okongwu?

Okongwu has an injured foot apparently but I hear that will not really affect his draft positioning.
Cold feet...and heart when I think about one scenario being talked about...trading up for Toppin. At 8 I can deal though not happy -- but giving up capital? Ugh.
This draft is a decent one, though no obvious superstars, there are lots of good players to be had at #8.
The only thing that gets my feet cold is the fear that the Knicks will typically once again muck it up. The rumors that we are giving up assets to move up from the #8 pick are very disconcerting. I second the thought that there is absolutely NO ONE that we would pick at, say, #4 or #5 that would be so obviously better than whoever else is left at #8 to merit giving up anything extra. If not Obi Toppin, then Vassel or Okongwu or Nesmith will do just fine. Holding out hope that the Knicks play it cool and reasoned for once.

I could understand the Knicks trading up for Ball but that's it. I wouldn't be thrilled (depending on what we gave up which I assume would be significant) but I would understand. Anyone else no.

Lamelo, Wiseman, Edwards, Toppin, Avdija, Okongwu, Haliburton, Okoro, Vasell, Bey
Would be surprised if Kira, Maxey or Hayes go in top 10.
