A similar deal to Houston that we have done many x before. We are going to pay 2.50 on the 1$ to get Westbrook. Pick 8 27 and a Dallas pick is going to Houston. Such a righteous overpay but this is Dolan. ( the stupidest owner in all of sports proven by decades of idiotic moves)
While its still early, I’d have to say while the knicks have not done anything very smart in many years but at the same time we have not done similarly anything egregiously ignorant. Joakim Noah about tops it. KP was an very regrettable and to some extent knicks at to blame but I’m talking like pay top dollar for a starphuch kind of stupid. Maybe reigning Melo was on par but look at where he was when we signed him. He was still quite good.
I’m not here to defend Dolan. I share the fear factor presented by Briggs regarding Stu Dolan panicking in particular his reactionary attitude to the Nets.
He was embarrassed by Mills last year into thinking Durant/Kyrie was coming to New York. Problem is we forget Brooklyn is in New York. This is what happens when you helicopter to your estate on the Island or stay in Manhattan. You forget where Brooklyn is.
When we are clueless given the new regime we default to fear.
