Knicks · So which veteran point guard are trade for rosier, bledsoe, hill, or westbrook. (page 1)

houston20 @ 11/19/2020 10:58 AM
Its obvious the knicks didn't like the point guards in this draft last night so it like either going sign fred van fleet or trade for veteran point guard like rosier, bledsoe, hill, or westbrook which point guard do you want.
unstopaball12 @ 11/19/2020 11:07 AM
I think exploring the rozier for Randle will be in play again, with Charlotte getting ball.

We need a playmaking PG that can shoot

SupremeCommander @ 11/19/2020 11:09 AM
I have heard Boston wants to dump either Kemba or Gordon. I would want Kemba the most. He has shined on the MSG stage often during his career so yes please give me that

otherwise, I would take whatever costs us the least in terms of what we have to give up and the salary that we would have to commit

BigDaddyG @ 11/19/2020 11:34 AM
From a trade/talent standpoint, I think Bledsoe makes the most sense. He doesn't seem to really fit NOH's plans unless a Ball trade is on the table. I could also see him rehabilitating his perceived value and getting flipped again for a pick. Spencer Dinwiddie could be another target, though I don't see him going to us via the Nets.

He had a knee issue nearly all of last season, then the big break before the bubble and it flared up again immediately upon starting to play again. Makes me wonder if that's why the Hornets didn't want to re-sign him.

Not a big fan of Bledsoe...seems like he is always hurt, not to mention his inconsistent shooting. I would rather roll with DSJ and Frank for one more year as to not jeopardize next years draft selection and to get a years long look at them 2. But, with Thibs here, I think we are definitely trying to win so if we go that route, I would look at Rozier instead of Bledsoe...in fact I wouldn't be surprised to see Rozier and Monk in Knick uniforms next month.

fishmike @ 11/19/2020 3:54 PM
Its gonna be Bledsoe!!!!

Where did he go to school again?

Another name that was brought up by Begley is Jeff Teague. I think we should just scoop up DJ Augustine and keep our eye out for an upgrade during the season. Guys seem to want to jump ship every other week these days.

You're wrong. It's obviously going to be Wall.

I hope not to Teague, he looked done last season and was awful the season before that- TWolves fans HATED him!

ALL these guys depend on the deal that gets them here. Cant make everyone happy and to me it comes down to the deal. I am ok with an older expensive player because we really need a floor general. I just dont want to overpay, and by overpay I mean a cost that impeded our ability to grow.

Lonzo Ball would be worth overpaying for. I would give up Smith jr and Frank. Or if they need draft picks. Better than a placeholder PG.

Depends which picks. Something to look into. But I doubt they see Bledsoe and Hill as any sort of answer.

Thibs would love his D, and ability to execute an offense. Could be a long term answer at PG. The other candidates likely arent.

Thought the same thing about Rubio when Thibs coached Minny. Who knows?

Rubio didnt play D like Ball. Ball is becoming a better shooter as well.

I think Scary Terry is the best match and Randle would be good in Charlotte
EwingsGlass @ 11/19/2020 8:23 PM
I am thinking it will be Wall. Like a Westbrook/Wall swap where the Knicks make a move to take Wall. Feels like they are bringing in the coaches’ guys. Johnnie Bryant gets Hayward. Payne brings in Wall. Clearly need a clean bill of health. But Walls speed and passing will help Toppin and Robinson. Not saying it’s a champ squad, but

Wall
Barrett
Hayward
Toppin
Robinson

Would be good for the young players development while winning some games.

HofstraBBall @ 11/19/2020 9:20 PM
Possible free agents include Teague, Augustine and Dunn. Dragic probably resigns with heat. Think Rose is hoping price goes down for Westbrook though.

Side note. Knicks just signed Powell from the Hall. Always liked him.

This is a trade that will be revived, I hope we can get 1 Martin from this--a solid role player
