I'm surprised the Conley for Randle never happened, seemed like a good deal for both sides

Still could. But who does Utah have lined up at point?

We'd send back one of our bums!

Then later in the podcast he again cryptically, carefully choosing his words said /hinted they're working on acquiring a player who can run the offense, that may not be a PG but would be pretty good at the 2, and then it wouldn't matter who's at PG.Can anyone think of a SG who we could trade for who could be traded for (possibly for Randle) run the offense, and move RJ to the 3?
Only one I can think of is Bledsoe? Hope not! Buddy Hield? (can he run an offense?)
Hmm.... actually maybe Evan Fournier- he could play SG, is a good passer and shooter, is expiring $17mil, which is roughly what we have in cap space. Maybe that's who we're targeting?

They'd want someone decent.

I'm out on Fournier. He constantly talks crap about the Knicks and he doesn't move the needle.

I don't like him either, but I'm struggling to think of SG's who can pass that we could obtain.

Terry is like the A++ version of Austin Rivers. Good player, but I'd sooner trust Payton to run the offense. Good news, the tankathon for Cunningham begins in earnest. I'm already having dreams of a bigger, more athletic Malcolm Brogdan (or less athletic Penny Hardaway. Both comps work) throwing lobs to Mitch and OB1..."OB with the master blaster!" Clyde delivering lines with enthusiasm he had during the Ewing era...Mike Breen no longer going through the motions...it's coming.

Oh,oh...when a GM says this, it usually means the player is gonna go in a week. I won't be able to rest until this deal is done without the Knicks involvement.

Yeah, we can't let our guard down until this westbrook trade is no longer a threat! Also In all of the chaos of the last few days, I'd completely forgotten harden had demanded a trade

D'oh, he was referring to oladipo
Trading for oladipo is like trading for melo, why give assets if he will be a free agent next year with 1 foot out of the door.
We aren't competing also this year so it doesn't make sense
Rozier for Randle could work, especially alongside Payton. Only thing I worry about is worst case scenario where Toppin’s D is too much of a liability for starter minutes. Maybe Knox steps up? Idk. Not to say Randles D is good but it’s never get him off the court type bad either
LEt Randle Start and Obi earn the job. His contract all but expires after this season. Can always go small with both of them on the court.
Charlotte still needs move contracts for gordon hayward i wouldn't be surprise if they called the knicks help them take a contract like rozier.

We do need guards, but it is Jordan we'd be helping out...but in helping out Jordan we'd be screwing the Celtics even more.... decisions, decisions...If it means getting rid of the spinovers, I guess trading for Rozier is the move.

Take on batum for first round pick

I think they already waived him.

He only talked bad about the Knicks because idiots Fizdale and Perry hated his French team buddy Frank and wouldn’t play him. And he was right

Was this recorded before or after signing Austin Rivers?
